BlogStar entry: threading

Competition: beautyheaven's BlogStar promotion
There are many important things in life. Family. Health. Wealth. Knowledge. Baked Cheesecake. Rollerskates. And Eyebrows. The eyes have it baby. And perfectly shaped eyebrows frame the eyes and give a youthful lift.
So what's the best shape? There have been many styles over the decades. Marlene Dietrich's thin high arch. Brooke Shield's bushy Au Naturale. Frida Kahlo's Caterpillar (ooh the temptation for a Mono, must resist). Even as the recession hits us today, our eyebrows need not apply. Today's shape looks more unique as it fits with the natural curve of your forehead.
Waxing. Threading. Plucking. Tweezing. Tattooing. Hedge Cutting. Dunno about you, but i am severely crapola at plucking my own eyebrows. Doesn't matter what i do, the tweezers go bananas in my hand and pluck waaay too much.
So I leave it to the experts, and during my stint in the Middle East, I discovered eyebrow threading. Holy smokes, this is better than baked cheesecake awesome. Number One on those things you must do before being snapped by the paparazzi.
Threading is done by twisting cotton thread then rolling it along the surface of the skin. The hairs are entwined in the thread and lifted quickly from the follicle. Yes it does hurt (a little). I cannot lie. But the benefits toats outweigh the slight discomfort. Watch this eyebrow threading special on you tube. Note, great for irritable skin, or those on acne medication.
A Perfect Line is Threading Easy. Browtastic.

Couldn't bring myself to have threading even though I know others have good results. Too painful and expensive for me.

5/5 threading is the best! I just wish there was someone that did it locally! ALWAYS get my entire face & neck threaded when heading to Newcastle! Well worth it!

There is so much more to amazing plucked eyebrows than this method. Yes, eyebrows do frame the face, but you more often than not require another trusted friend to give you feedback regarding the shape, thickness, both below and above the eye.
I have tried every method possible and I have an excellent pair of eyebrow tweezers that work very well for me. That is the trick to find whatever works for you. Also, I have a kit that you place over your eyebrows and you use it as a pro forma to give you that very defined shape that you are looking for. I believe that method is more important than anyone of the options out there.
Lastly ladies take a look at a recent photograph of yourself and it will give you an idea of what needs to be done to end up with what works for you.

I hate it when people start sentences with 'and'. Some of the sentences do not read very well. However, the personality is vibrant within this review, so 3/5
