The summer beauty trend we can’t resist

Sometimes I seriously think about getting a tattoo. Unfortunately my fear of the pain, as well as the strong possibility I’ll decide I don’t like it after a couple of weeks, always holds me back. Which is why I’m so excited by the tiny, flash tattoo trend.
They’re affordable, cute to boot and in no way permanent – so you can change them up on a whim! They’re also a lot subtler than the metallic body art we’ve been seeing on celebs lately.
Here are some of our faves from Instagram…
So adorable, am I right?! You’ll want to get your hands on these bad boys asap:
- WONDERSTRIPES Metallic Fashion Tattoos
- Glam by Manicare Avante Garde Collection Body Tattoos
- Sportsgirl Arrow Tattoos ($7.48, sportsgirl.com.au)
Would you wear a flash tattoo? What’s your must-have summer beauty accessory?

The first image of the hand is lovely. A great alternative to tattoos, and not permanent either. #bodyrespect yes.

I personally think some of them look a little tacky. Wouldn't use them myself.

I have quite a few real tattoos but I like temporary ones which I can use to cover areas that I wouldn't get a real tattoo in!

These look cute but I think I'd prefer the bigger flash tattoos!

Maybe. But they kind of remind me of when I was ten. Perhaps not a time of fashion to relive.

This is sort of like the little kiddies tattoos, cute if you like it. Each their own, but I'd probably go for the real thing, if I was doing it.

Some of those designs are so small that they are hardly noticeable. Is it really worth it at all ?

My sister had her 21st last year and it was a Pocahontas themed party. We bought some metallic tattoos (from Sportsgirl, I think?) and they were SO fun to use. I like that they aren't permanent (as I would never in a million years get a permanent tattoo) and they look a lot like jewellery. So pretty and really nice for in summer (my sister's 21st was in December). :)
