Sensitive Hair Removal Cream Reviews

Thanks to BeautyHeaven for letting me trial the Nads Sensitive Hair Removal Cream! The product comes in a white and hot pink squeezy tube which is not great for travel, but I personally wouldn’t travel with a hair removal cream. The product does have a chemical scent which is the same for all removal creams I have used in the past, it's certainly not the worst scent but if you are sensitive to smells just be aware. The cream is thick and easy to put on but you do have to use a lot- I did let my leg hair grow a little bit longer than usual to see if it would work past the point of when I normally shave which is every 3-4 days. It seemed to cover the area well but I only got two uses out of the tube. It is messy in application but it is definitely a no-drip formula and as long as you don't brush up against anything it will stay on until you want it to come off. I did a patch test to make sure there was no adverse reaction and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't come out with any redness which is usually what happens. The first time I used it I was disappointed because I thought it didn't work even though I had left it on for the maximum time, I reread the instructions and you do need to use a wet towel (or facecloth) to actually wipe away the hair. The second time worked like a charm but it is still not as easy as shaving. A tip would be to use lukewarm water to remove as hot water aggravated my skin and made it sting slightly. For the price this product works well but I will stick to shaving.

I found this product pleasant to smell, and very effective at removing my body hair without irritating my sensitive skin that is prone to eczema and psoriasis.
Unfortunately unlike hair removal creams I have used in the past the product did not come with an applicator to assist in applying and removing the product. So whilst it was effective the mess and difficulty of using the product means I wouldn't buy it.
If the product came with an applicator spatula I would 100% recommend and buy it.

Thank you to BH for letting me trial this product, hearing about a 4-minute hair removal cream sounds like my holy grail of hair removal products. I am often time poor and miss patches when I shave (if I found the time) or just generally clumsy constantly nicking myself. I have dark hair that grows quite quickly so unfortunately for me upkeep is quite frequent.

The bottle is squeezy and hygienic, I didn't experience a massive amount residue or build-up on the lid as it was easy to remove, the consistency is quite thin - almost lotion like. Because of this, it was hard to get an even thick application.
I didn't experience any irritation, rednesses, dryness or sensitivity on any area I used this product or my hands. The smell of this product is very subtle compared to other hair removal cream

First application - on underarms and calves - I used quite a lot to apply. I waited for exactly 4 minutes but unfortunately my hair wasn't entirely removed, only shortened. It worked a little better under my arms, but the hair still wasn't completely gone.

Second application - patch test on calves - this time I focused on a small area and left on for 7 minutes, the hair was completely removed apart from two strands.

I do have quite coarse hair, so this product may work on those with finer hair, but my legs felt smoother for roughly 3 days. Whereas usually after shaving, I can notice regrowth after one day.

I do like this product, as it didn't effect my skins health. However, there was some difficulty maintaining a thicker product when applying due to the thinner consistency of the product making it harder to apply over larger areas.
Due to wanting to use this mainly on legs I don't know if I will purchase as it was hard to apply an even, thick amount.

This cream comes with white packaging and fluro pink flip top lid, which it stands on. To use the product, you simply squeeze the tube.

When I used the cream, I did notice a strong smell but I still can't quite put my finger on it. It's not appealing, but it wasn't bad enough to put me off using it. I did do a patch test as I do have sensitive skin and didn't want any rashes coming up!!

I only had an opportunity to use this twice before the trial due date. I used it on my legs and underarms. I found that a lot of product was needed and i can't imagine the tube lasts very long! The instructions say to put on a thick layer without rubbing it in, I was trying to spread it on my legs which resulted in rubbing it in, so then I had to use my cream to make sure it was thick enough. While I was waiting for 4 minutes, I just stood there because I didn't want to get cream onto my furniture or my clothes. After trying to wipe it off, I found the hair wasn't removing, so I left it for a further 4 and then wiped it off. The hair was removed but I think it was rather messy, I had to use all sections of a handtowel to remove the cream. There were a few hairs here and there that needed plucking as it was missed by the cream.

I would not suggest using it on your underarms, simply because my arms got really tired in the air waiting for time to pass before wiping off the cream. Having used this tube twice, it's safe to say I'll only get one more use of it because you need so much.

On the plus side, I had no ingrowns, my skin felt smooth (after plucking away the missed hairs) and I decided not to use moisturiser after it, incase there were open pores or something that would irritate my skin.

I really wanted to love this product but it's just not for me and my lifestyle.

I was skeptical about trying any hair removal cream, mostly because I have only ever used one before that didn’t work well for me but figured I might as well give it a go, and I am so glad I did. The Nad’s Sensitive Hair Removal Cream is so easy to use, you just cannot go wrong with this product. I applied the Hair Removal Cream to my legs for my first test night, and my legs have honestly never felt so smooth and hair free! It actually removed even the smallest stubble that usual shaving would leave, whether it was legs, underarms or bikini line this product works so amazingly, and I absolutely recommend giving it a go.
I love that this product because it is so convenient to use and it doesn't take any more time or effort than your usual shaving/waxing process would, just 10 minutes and you’re perfectly smooth. I honestly plan to continue using the Nads Sensitive Hair Removal Cream because at roughly $10 a bottle, its such great value for money on a product that actually works!

This is the first hair removal cream I've tried, and I've only ever waxed my legs before (and tweezed some hairs for fun :P). The tube packaging is cute. The lid snaps open and close easily but mine leaves a tiny gap when I close it, which may be a one-off but it bugs me. Once I sniffed the product I was reminded of the smell of a hair salon with piles of chopped hair on the floor - it wasn't very pleasant. When using it, there was a faint fruity scent but it's still quite artificial and doesn't mask the bitter/chemical smell very well.

Onto usage! It was fairly easy to squeeze the product out, which was like a thick white lotion but still easy to spread on my skin. The main issue is that you need a LOT of product to get a 'thick even layer' as demonstrated on the website video, and that was only for a single rectangular patch on my leg about 6 x 25cm. I was also anxious about the alkaline effects on my skin so I had to awkwardly walk to my (small) bathroom to wash my hands immediately after application. I had to do this a few times because I felt that my application wasn't thick enough. I'm not sure how 150mL is gonna last if you use it for your legs and armpits!

4 minutes had no effect. I waited til about 6-8 mins for results. Wiping was a messy ordeal as I had to use tissues, and my hairs did come off but they wouldn't get on my tissue. I would've liked to have a cloth or sponge come with this as a 'kit' to make things easier. It did remove most of my hairs, but on the edges there were half-cut hairs remaining. I stopped after 8 mins because my skin was starting to turn red and I wasn't gonna take any chances. My legs did feel nice and smooth after washing, and without the need for moisturiser afterwards, which was good. I like that this didn't irritate my skin despite the temporary redness.

Overall this was a messy product to use and did not work at 4 minutes as advertised for me! It took up to 10 minutes, which is fair enough but I would rather wax and use an oil aftercare wipe than have to wash off my leg in the bathtub. The results are more immediate and you don't have to worry about getting some lotion all over your furniture.

When i received this product, i was excited to try it especially on my arms , as i cannot stand waxing them. I liked how it was for sensitive skin also, as i tend to get quite irritated sometimes.
So looking at the package, i found it to look boring, to me it would not be a product that would catch my eye in the supermarket.
However, when i opened it, and smelt it, the fragrance of Aloe Vera was quiet pleasant. Better than other hair removal products i have used before. When i read about this cream it stated it had extracts of Melon, Aloe Vera, Avocado Oil and Honey to help soothe the skin and protect it, so i was excited to see how it turned out.
The cream is a think white formula, that goes on quiet easy. I basically covered my arm to the desired point and then waited the recommended time to then remove. So my little trick was remove it in the shower (on a medium temp, with a face towel) which i found to be quicker and cleaner.
Basically all my hair had been removed and after my shower i dried my arms of and just waited to see if they would go red and start to get irritated. They did however go red, but only lasted not even 5 minutes before it went away.
Overall this product is a great pain free method of hair removal, and makes it extremely easy to remove those unwanted hairs.

i have been trialing/using this product for a little while now, and unfortunately the product did not work well for me.

as the packet suggests, it states that you apply enough cream to the area you want your hair removed from and wait for 4 minutes before removing, and after 4 minutes you test a small area to see if the hair was removed. i tested the product on different lengths of my hair (some really short and some a bit longer), and after 4 minutes i tested those areas and the majority of the hair was still there. i had to wait close the 10 minutes before the majority of my hair was removed. after using the cream, there was still hair stubble left on my skin, the hair did not completely go away.

Another downside to the cream is that you have to apply a thick layer of cream depending on how thick your hair is, then the cream wont last very long, and you would need to buy another one again to ensure you have enough.
the thing i like about the product is that it does not have the chemical smell, like other hair removal creams do, I like the scent of it. Another positive I noticed about the product is that after using the hair removal cream, your hair grows back slowly, compared to shaving.

I think I will stick to shaving, as it is much quicker in getting rid of your hair.

What caught my attention about this trial was the words "Sensitive Hair Removal Cream," I haven't had much luck in the past with hair removal creams so I was definitely intrigued by this.
I'm not sure what I was expecting when I got the package, but it comes in a tube (150ml) with simple packaging with the words "4 minutes" being quite prominent on it. I guess to indicate that it can start working in 4 minutes. Another thing I noticed was that it said that the cream had "odour eliminating technology." The corrosive, chemical smell I have noticed when using hair removal creams in the past isn't as strong with this "Nads Sensitive hair removal cream," howver it was definitely still there; I'm not sure it can be completely eliminated with hair removal creams.

To the actual trial: as the title suggests I was definitely not impressed. I did do a patch test first because as I said, I don't have the best luck with hair removal creams. With the patch test, I did it on both legs just above my ankles, and used a good amount of cream to cover the area. I kept it on for the recommended 4 minutes with not change, so I extended the time to 6 minutes, and then to 8 minutes. When I took the cream off, I noticed that the hairs just look like they had been cut in half with half the hair gone but the other half of the hairs still on my leg. As I had not allergic reaction I decided to give it one more try.

The cream itself, which was white in colour, was easy to apply, and did not sting my hands as I applied it on to my legs like the hair removal creams I have used in the past have.

I used the Nads Sensitive Hair Removal Cream again on both my legs, covered the area well with a decent amount of the cream and this time I kept it on for just under 10 minutes. The result was the same as the patch test, the hairs were cut in half, but not taken off completely. I'm going to have to either shave or wax off the remaining hair the cream did not remove.

The reason I gave the review 2 stars instead of 1 is because it is sensitive and although there is an ordour, it isn't as pungent as the previous hair removal creams have been.
