Coconut oil for hair, skin and health
By now you’ve probably heard all about the health and beauty benefits of coconut oil (or if not, you can catch up here). So let’s start using this nourishing ingredient to its full potential, shall we? Watch the video above to see exactly how you can make a coconut oil face mask, hair mask and healthy snack. COCONUT OIL FACE MASK
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp honey
½ tsp lemon juice
Mix all three ingredients together until combined. Apply an even coating to your face and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
COCONUT OIL HAIR MASK
Coconut oil (1 tbsp for short hair, 2 tbsp for medium-length hair and 3 tbsp for long hair)
1 tbsp honey
Mix the ingredients together until combined. Then, run the mixture through the lengths of your hair and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with shampoo and only apply conditioner if needed.
COCONUT OIL POPCORN
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 bag unsalted popcorn
Pop your popcorn and then drizzle the coconut oil over the top while it’s still warm. If your coconut oil is too solid, ywarm it up in the microwave until it’s runny enough to drizzle.
