12 beauty habits your man hates

You’d think that men would be big fans of anything we do to make ourselves more beautiful. After all, our boyfriends, husbands and partners should be proud to have a stunning specimen to show off. But as it turns out, a lot of the beauty habits we’ve accumulated over the years actually tick them off.
So for the sake of your relationship, read on to find out what beauty habits he hates and how to compromise on them:
“My boyfriend can’t stand the dreaded fake tan smell!” –bh’s Annalise
Compromise: Use a gradual tanner like Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Natural Bronze Body Lotion, which has a cocoa fragrance and no hint of the fake tan smell.
“He hates it when I go to bed with semi - wet nails and have to sleep with my arms above the sheets to let them finish drying” – bh’s Carly
Compromise: Dry your nails faster by adding a drop of Revitanail Instant Dry Drops after your topcoat.
"He hates it when I wear too much make-up (mostly when a smoky eye is involved)." – bh’s Debbie
Compromise: Create your smoky eye using a natural palette like NYX Cosmetics Natural Shadow.
"He's not a fan of "drawn on" eyebrows." – bh’s Yelena
Compromise: Try using Benefit Gimme Brow. It’ll create the fuller look you desire while looking completely natural
"He refuses to kiss me with wet-looking lips or gloss." – bh’s Nat
Compromise: Try swapping gloss for a sheer lip stain like Revlon Colorburst™ Lacquer Balm. It’ll still give you some sheen and he won’t worry about it rubbing off on him.
“When I spray deodorant in the bedroom. He coughs and splutters so dramatically!” bh’s Sam
Compromise: Switch to a roll-on deodorant like Mitchum Clinical Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant Powder Fresh. It will keep you protected from sweat and odour for up to 48 hours and there’ll be nothing for him to cough and splutter at.
“He hates it when I go to bed with wet hair; he won't come anywhere near me.” – bh’s Olivia
Compromise: If you must go to bed with wet hair, tie it up in two plaits. This way he won’t have to deal with wet hair all over the place and you’ll wake up with a wavy ‘do.
“My partner hates the smell of nail polish remover” –Neilrawson
Compromise: Try using the Manicare Scented Moisturising Nail Polish Remover Pads, they feature a coconut or floral scent and are a lot less strong smelling than regular nail polish remover.
“He doesn’t like my regular hair straightening because it’s not good for the hair…which I agree with, but I still do it. – CherryBlossom
Compromise: Use a heat protectant spray like TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray, which is also formulated to help keep the hair smooth and protected from friction so you can straighten it less.
“My boyfriend hates the smell of my face after I moisturise.” bh’s Rosie
Compromise: Swap your usual moisturiser for one that is fragrance-free like Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture Sensitive Skin.
“He doesn’t like me putting on make-up if we’re just doing something casual” –bh’s Nat R
Compromise: Use a tinted moisturiser with SPF like SunSense Daily Face SPF 50+. It will cover any imperfections you’re worried about and you can tell your man that it’s for sun protection (and he can’t argue with that!).
“My boyfriend complains about all my hair that falls out from brushing or using hair tools. It's everywhere. He always finds it in random places!” – bh’s Issy
Compromise: Before showering, stand in the shower and brush through your hair with a comb. This way all stray hair will end up in the drain and all you have to do is pick it up and put it in the bin on your way out.

Well I don't have any of these because I don't have a man but there is one or two here that my dad has complained about me when we have spent time together I would make a change just for my dad but there's no way I would do this for a guy. If a man wants you, He has to settle with all the good & bad that goes with you otherwise pick up a broom & ask who's boss. There are plenty of women out there that have to settle with all the gross things that come with a guy besides the good so why should you change for him.
