Anthelios Invisible Fluid Facial Sunscreen SPF50+ Reviews

I have two versions of this SPF50: Ultra Ligth (pictured) and new edit ultra light Invisible fluid. They have similar base (water, alcohol, spf filters for UVA and UVB, all chemical based). Just they differ in chemical filter screens. Since they are chemical based they do degrade and have to be reapplied frequently. Not very suitable for me as I have melasma and have to have filters that bounce off the light and do not degrade (like Zn).

I love that these are so lightweight and do not make my face look greasy and extra shiny. But normal as my skin is. And I use these for short time out and not summer peak hours. If longer Physical spf is a must for me when longer exposed to stronger UVA.

My skin is normal to oily in summer, so even though this sunscreen (and its newer edit) contain high up alcohol (second and third after water on ing list), my skin is good with it. And has no issues with alcohol at all.

My only big issue with this (and most other sunscreens I have used with only chemical filters) is that it burns my eyes after an hourish of wear.

This is a great sunscreen that comes in a slim, compact bottle which is the ideal size for your handbag. It's bit pricey for the size, however I have found this particular sunscreen works really well on my sensitive skin as it absorbs well leaving virtually no residue. It has a milky, runny texture that feels weightless on the skin and there is no added fragrance which is great for sensitive skin. I also don't get any white residue or a heavy, greasy feel when I apply this sunscreen under my makeup.

I apply this sunscreen all year round as my skin is quite fair and I am always prone to sunburn. I have found this sunscreen is very effective in providing gentle yet high SPF protection and is quick and easy to reapply on the go.

I was hesitant to buy this sunscreen due to the price, however this is definitely the best everyday sunscreen I have ever used! Amazing scent, texture and tint so it is perfect to use in the morning. I don't always have to wear makeup over the top too! Will definitely be buying this again!!

This sunscreen is great for any skin type. It's lightweight and soaks into the skin nicely.

I have oily acne prone skin and I use this daily and haven't had any problem with it.

In the past facial sunscreen use to cause me big issues with acne or oiliness so I would avoid them.

Now that I'm older I realise that you mustn't avoid them, just find the right one, like any other skincare. Try this one out because it's non comedogenic and designed for sensitive skin.

La Roche-Posay have an excellent reputation for a reason. Their Anthelios XL Ultra Light Facial Sunscreen 50+ spf UVB+UVA is as good as it gets. The fluid is packaged in a sqeeze bottle with nozzle. The white sunscreen is easy to spread on the face and is also quite moisturising. This sunscreen has a light fragrance but the sensitive skin formula does not irritate or sting. It provides a primer like smoothness to skin and I put my makeup straight on top. I love this sunscreen in winter as it feels so protective against cold wind due to the moisture.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ Facial Sunscreen provides good protection from the sun. Its not greasy on the skin. It applies well and feels lightweight on the skin. It contains thermal spring water. Its good for normal and combination skin types. It has SPF50 in it. Its a good size bottle. Apply 20 minutes before going into the sun.

I really wish this worked for me but for some reason it just doesn’t. Every time I use it my pored get clogged and I get break outs and super oily skin. Still on the hunt for spf that doesn’t do this.

This sunscreen works for many people so give it a go, but for such a runny formula it actually feels quite heavy on my skin

Having Combination skin, it's always hard to find a SunScreen that won't clog your pores or leave you with that greasy, shiny (and smelly) look that sunscreen can give you.

The product itself can be a bit runny, so a little goes a long way! It's been the best find in my skincare routine.

Stock up when it's on sale as it can be a tad expensive for such a small bottle.
I also use it on my hands when I'm driving (Non-Greasy) :)

La Roche-Posay is another one of those French pharmacy brands that i just can't get enough of....why ? because they really do work.
The Anthelios line has a bit of a cult following,and when you try it you too will be hooked.After all,when an SPF of 50+ comes along that provides the best protection,but also has a lighter texture than most other sunscreens (to me,that is what makes a sunscreen,which is a non- negotiable,actually something you WANT to wear) ,and it feels like it is caring for your skin (rather than just sitting on your face,providing UV protection) it makes for a truly "must have" summer essential.
This XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ is quite fluid in texture (but moisturising in feel),doesn't leave a white,"Casper" residue to deal with,and is sans scent (save for a slight fresh," cannot put my finger on it" fragrance for want of a better description),it plays fairly well under makeup (i don't wear foundation much at all,and never in summer....unless it is truly called for,so i don't know how this would go with that over the top) AND it could just be the perfect answer for those with an oilier visage (not an issue i have,but i do look for more matte formulas in summer).But does it truly stand up to an Aussie summer sun ? Well,after a day's venture out to the coast (which included driving there,walking the streets,exploring outdoor markets,swimming....after which i do re-apply of course,AND sweating),this baby lasted the distance right up until the swim...a full 4 hours of 35+ degree heat,without so much as a red tinge to my skin.
Finally, the super portable 50ml bottle (which is priced at around $30),is perfect to throw in your bag to ensure you re-apply this as often as you should.
This is not just about beauty...it is a potential life saver in every sense of the word.
