Beautiful beauty flaws

Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes from around the world, so it should come as no surprise that our perceptions of beauty differ from country to country. Traits that some cultures love and adore might be very same one that a woman from halfway around the world wishes she could trade in.
We admit that sometimes the beauty world can be a tad regimented, but have you ever heard the saying 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'? The key to being happy is embracing your imperfections. After all, what’s so pretty about perfect?
Beauty spots
Moles, birthmarks, beauty spots - whatever you want to call them, they’ve graced some of the sexiest and most famous faces in the world. Can you imagine Cindy Crawford without her trademark spot? I didn’t think so. Eva Mendes, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie and Shannyn Sossamon are all proof that beauty spots are the perfect imperfection.
bh tip: If you’re not sporting a natural spot, don’t worry - that’s what make-up is for! Make-up artist Rae Morris learnt this beauty hack from Kelly Rowland: create a faux beauty spot by dipping a toothpick into black eyelash glue (try DUO Eyelash Adhesive) and quickly dabbing it on your skin. You can peel it off later.
Freckles
While it may not have been so idyllic during those awkward teenage years, skin with a smattering of freckles is now something to be envied. Rachel Bilson, Lucy Liu, Olivia Munn, Emma Watson, Emma Stone and Erin Heatherton are just a handful of beauties fearlessly embracing their sweetly speckled skin. Freckles are features to highlight, not hide, so flaunt them. All ye fair maidens, rejoice!
bh tip: Use the Haut BB Cream to hydrate and brighten your complexion without concealing those beautiful spots.
Gap teeth
What do Jessica Hart, Lara Stone, Anna Paquin, Brigitte Bardot, Jane Birkin, Lily Aldridge, Georgia May Jagger, Vanessa Paradis and Lauren Hutton have in common? They’re all MAJOR bombshells, and they’re all gloriously gap-toothed.
bh tip: Get gorgeous chompers with Colgate advanced whitening toothpaste and keep your pearly whites, pearly white. And show off that smile - you’re beautiful!
Different coloured eyes
Kate Bosworth springs to mind when you think of this ‘flaw’. And ladies, she owns it like no-one else. Heterochromia is a fascinating condition that refers to the discolouration in one’s eyes, and frankly, we can’t imagine the beautiful Bos without them. She’s not alone in this anomaly, either - a bevy of beauties including Mila Kunis, Alice Eve and Demi Moore all have uniquely coloured irises. Power to them!
bh tip: If you have heterochromia, sweep on a violet eyeshadow, like Esteé Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow. It complements both the brown and blue hues in your eyes, and makes them pop, making it a winner.
Dimples
How ridiculously adorable are dimples?! Those with these cheeky indentations are blessed with smiles that scream sweetness. If you have any dimple doubts, take a look at leading ladies like Miranda Kerr, Kirsten Dunst, Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Garner. Just try not to adore them!
bh tip: Draw attention to your gorgeously plump cheeks with a bold lip. NYX Cosmetics Creamy Round Lipstick is great for giving dimples sultry definition.
Thick brows
Two words: Cara Delevingne. As far as we’re concerned, if you’ve got a set of brows like this British beauty, you are one very lucky lady. Bushy brows are a gift, so don’t pluck them down to nothing! With the proper care, a good, strong brow can completely change your look for the better. Check out these amazing celebrity brow transformations to see what we mean. Now, step away from the tweezers…
bh tip: Good brows require upkeep, sure, but you just need a good foundation. This guide to at-home brow shaping could save your life (or your brows, at least).
Do you have any other beautiful flaws? What are they?

I have naturally busy, thick brows and growing up I hated them. Now I have finally come to a place where I can appreciate them. :) These ladies are amazingly good looking 'flaws' and all. :)

Freckles are so cute. It always reminds me of the character Anne in the book Anne of Green Gables serie.

Those ladies all look gorgeous, sadly I hate the sunspots and freckles on my face ! And opt for good coverage so they can't be seen.

Freckles are cute when you're young, not so cute as you age.

These flaws are beautiful, but I have the not so cute ones, like ruddy cheeks, pigmentation and sunspots

I have had gap teeth since my adult teeth came through. I used to be so self conscious of them, because I have quite large teeth too, but everyone always comments on how big and beautiful my smile is, so I don't even think about my gap anymore!!

My skin colour was my biggest issue when I was little. I was bullied like you would not believe. It was horrible. Now, I own my skin and revel in it.

I LOVE dimples! I don't have them, but I've crushed on several guys who had dimples & I thought it was one of the most attractive things about them.
I've got my flaws but none of them are mentioned on this list (although I did have freckles when I was younger - they didn't bother me) and tbh, I don't care because I know that not everyone is airbrushed to within an inch of their lives & I'd rather not aspire to such a beauty ideal.

I don't have any of these 'flaws'. I think the different coloured eyes are the most interesting.

I'd be very happy to have some of those so called 'flaws'. My daughter has dimples & they're definitely a cute look
