Don’t hate it but also don’t love it
I bought this primer on sale and I’m glad I did because this primer barely did anything to help my makeup stay on for a longer period of time, however it did have a smoothing effect on the skin and
Highlighter and bronzer
Gorgeous product with good quality ingredients. I use this also as a bronzer and highlighter when I’m using a darker bronzer. The glow is exceptional and you decide how much you want.
Great quality
A great quality product and so easy to handle. This is one product I find it easy to use. I love the way it gives my eyebrows that enhanced look with a natural touch.

Be strong, Be bold, Be passionate, Be independent. Not just this day, but everyday!
Happy International Women's Day, everyone!
We've come a long way, but there's still a way to go.
On a somewhat related note, I read an article today about how the old cartoon character Pepé Le Pew perpetuated rape culture. I was shocked at first, but then I thought about it. That kind of cartoon would never be considered appropriate if it were created today. I completely agree with the author!
The article was on The Brag website - an interesting read.
Absolutely agree - stalker vibes. Wasn't one of my favourite cartoons growing up. What was so funny about the poor stressed scared female?
Exactly!
The writer makes a few points (copy/pasted):
1. He grabs/kisses a girl/stranger, repeatedly, w/o consent and against her will.
2. She struggles mightily to get away from him, but he won’t release her.
3. He locks a door to prevent her from escaping.
He also goes on to say:
“This helped teach boys that ‘no’ didn’t really mean no, that it was a part of ‘the game’, the starting line of a power struggle,”
&
“It taught overcoming a woman’s strenuous, even physical objections, was normal, adorable, funny. They didn’t even give the woman the ability to SPEAK.”
Possibly as a response to this article, Warner Bros has ditched Pepé Le Pew from the upcoming "Space Jam 2".
Not sure how far they are taking this latest Pepe Le Pew mis8 - is it only deleting his character from upcoming Space Jam 2 movie?
If so, that’s not enough. Growing up, I always watched Looney Tunes - the Road Runner so frustrated me!
Thinking back to Pepe Le Pew - and it’s so true - his French accent got me in tho - just as it was intended!
In light of other favourites being banned/removed/coming with warnings (Gone With The Wind and selected Dr Seuss books come to mind) I’m all for Pepe Le Pew being banned and removed.
I got the impression that they're shelving the character, but there's no word about if he'll appear in reruns.
It's funny what you said about the road runner - my sister HATED the road runner & coyote, too!
And on another slightly related note , Unilever has announced it will remove the word "normal" from all it's skin and haircare brands as it can affect self esteem and make some people feel marginalised. They are also going to stop digitally altering skin and body size etc... of their models in advertisements.
For Unilever to stop digitally altering their models in ads is a good thing. As for getting rid of the word "normal" from skin & haircare? Hmm. The more I think about it, the more I can see that there's some sense to it.
The connections between and among women are the most feared, the most problematic, and the most potentially transforming force on the planet. - Adrienne Rich
The greatest day with an interesting history. I am a feminist in my own right and for me this is one of the most important days and important holidays that we have throughout the year. Earlier this month, I wrote several essays on this topic, which I presented to my classmates at the university. I'm also busy writing HND Assignment right now. A very difficult type of assignment, so I turned to the company https://assignmentbro.com/uk/hnd-assignment-help for help, which agreed to help me. HND Assignment stands for Higher National Diploma Certificate and is one of the most popular options among UK students who take a two-year approach to professional qualifications. It is very important for me.
