After suggestions with what perfumes last long on the skin but also affordable (under $100)?
I have tried a few but unfortunately they don't last long!
Thanks in advance!
Bumping this so other Beauties can see
Calvin Klein's Euphoria is quite good if you like raspberry based scents, that lasts a good 6-8 hours.
If you are after staying power I would recommend keeping your eye out for specials on Ellie Saab and Lancome's perfumes, their staying power and sillage is excellent. They are pricey at full size but Chemist Warehouse often has them on good specials every now and again. The smaller sizes are often under $100 when they are on special.
Good luck! =)
There seem to be a lot of great reviews with Calvin Klein & Lancome. I might smell it later this week at Chemist Warehouse :) I always buy m y perfume from there, I refuse to pay full price.
I think maybe just make sure you are buying the Eau de Parfum (EDP) version of any fragrance as opposed to Eau de Toilette (EDT) version as they will have a higher concentration and less diluted, therefore last longer. x
Eskimo82, I was going to say the exact same thing. EDP's all the way, an EDT just doesn't cut it for me anymore! It's 100% worth the additional cost.
I do buy the EDP but find the smell doesn't last long. Maybe I'm buying crappy brands haha
I love juicy couture -Viva la juicy. I can't smell it on myself but everyone else can and lady million too.
Ooh I love both of those too, ThisIsMe! And the same thing happens to me and I end up spraying myself 1000 times and overwhelming everyone around me, haha!
Haha I know Lizabella, you get so used to the scent it blends in so you keep spraying yourself cos you can't smell it but don't realise everyone else can smell it! :)
Maybe that's my issue, I can't smell it but maybe everyone else can :P
commenting to i can keep an eye on this thread would love a perfume that stays on for more then a few hours without needing a top up!
Jo Malone fragrances are really long lasting, and they have so many gorgeous scents to choose from. They ARE pretty expensive, but the smaller size is $98 and the bottle does last a really long time because you don't need to use much!
Second Jo Malone! They have such unique scents!
To help any perfume last longer I sometimes put a dab of vaseline on my wrists. I find it gives the perfume something to cling to, like a solid perfume.
Ooh yes, I do something similar with body oil, it does seem to make the scent last longer if you 'prime' first, even body lotion helps.
I would love to know too which particular perfumes last long, I understand the silage and lasting power would vary person to person. As I still I look for that long lasting fragrance, I carry a mini version of the fragrance that I am wearing that day to top up.
Depends what type do you like? Oriential, woody, sweet?
Clinique Aromatics in White is a beautiful fragrance. Twice I've been complimented on my fragrance ages after I've sprayed it by people I didn't know. It isn't cheap but mine came with body lotion and body wash in a lovely Christmas set last year. It's retained its beautiful fragrance and stayed true to what I bought for almost 12 months.
I've found that cheaper fragrances sometimes don't stay true to the fragrance on a long term basis.
Gucci Flora EDP is really long lasting, and of course Chanel 5, also try Yves saint laurent Cinema EDP 50 ML, i got it last year at Myer 50% of the price
Mon Paris YSL has been the longest lasting perfume I have ever purchase and also the best smelling. I have had numerous people say "what are you wearing" it smells lovely.

A good way to make any perfume last is to layer it; if you have it, start with a scented soap or shower gel, then use a scented body lotion or cream, and when that dries, spray or dab the perfume on. It lasts for much longer than just using the perfume.
so i bought this product, lets be honest cause im thinning at my hairline , which i thought "great now i can cover my shiny little scalp and feel fuller"
I use Isocol rubbing alcohol antiseptic anti-bacterial lotion for so many things. Some of the for beauty purposes, some times for house hold use. It really is so extremely versatile.
LOOOVEEE THIS SCENT!!!
This scent is so so unique. As soon as I sprayed it on my skin at lush just to test it out I was captivated by it.
