Clearing up skin on back for men
Clearing up skin on back for men
My partner has a lot of problems with the skin on his back. He always has a lot of whiteheads that give him pain and also ingrown hairs over his entire back. He is a tradie and spends a lot of time with his back being hot/sweaty and his skin can't breath so I don't think that helps but that is not avoidable.
He isn't too keen on using products but has said he will try something if I tell him what to get and it's not too expensive. I was thinking a back loofah would help, but also thought there may be some kind of wash or scrub that could help?

I was excited to be chosen to review these tablets and pleased that Natures Way provided enough for me to trial for a couple of months so I could truly ascertain if they were going to be beneficial
Glowy and beautiful!
A great and affordable sunscreen which has a glowy colour in it.
Such a beautiful foundation
This foundation is the best of the best. I dragged my feet in getting to try it because sometimes products aren't always as great as people rave that they are. This product genuinely is.

I've said this what feels like a million times, but I would recommend Phisohex for anyone with that type of problem.
It's an antibacterial face wash, but would certainly still work for the back I'm sure. About $10 for 200mL at most chemists and even supermarkets (Coles, Woolies), or around $20 for 500mL at the chemist.
Also perhaps get your hands on some exfoliating mitts. Much easier to reach those harder to reach places, and you can wash them too, to keep off bacteria which could re-feed the problem.
Don't go crazy exfoliating right now (as that would be really painful!), but use in conjunction with the Phisohex once he's ready and healed up more, and hopefully you should have a winning combo!
If you need a stronger product, perhaps try Proactiv or Benzac AC, but these can be quite drying and a bit like bleach on the skin. Phisohex is good as it's gentle and doesn't disrupt the natural pH balance of the skin, but eliminates the bacteria.
Just remember these things can take time to heal up, so have patience, and good luck.
Thanks Sunjeanie, I had been thinking about Phisohex so i might go with that first and go from there.
Phisohex is a very good product, but be careful how you use it as it will burn if it's left on too long. I hope he get's good results!
Pretty sure it was sunjeanie who recommended I buy Phisohex for my daughter for her teenage acne and we did and it works really well for her, better than any other wash we tried (so thank you!)
Paula's Choice does a spray (Clear Acne Body Spray) that is perfect for backs - it's really helped me and I wish it was around in my worst back-pimple teen years! Really easy to use on your own as well, which is a big bonus.
My only tip with it is to leave it to dry for a couple of minutes before putting a shirt on. Doesn't stain, but then you don't feel sticky
Thanks for that suggestion I might look into that if the Phisohex doesn't help. At least a spray would be quite easy for him to apply himself
i have recommended this to my sis and i use them both. They help with back acne
