Wondering if anyone has tried this skincare range?
Is that the range in the royal blue packaging? If so, I tried the AHA mask and I'm pretty sure I wrote a review on BH's Laura product page:)
Yep, here's the official link to the full range in case anyone's interested:
My mum got a bit overexcited and bought all the products in the range lol. Looks kinda like they're supposed to be a dupe for La Prairie haha.
I'll have to try all the products and write a review on them too :)
I have tried a few things in the brand - hand cream, face scrub and a face mask. I actually found them to be quite good! Best thing about the brand is if you don't like it you can return it for a full refund (as with anything else in aldi brands)
Will have to give them a try!
Oh I didn't know about Aldi's return policy regarding beauty products. Bought 2 x BB Creams from there and unfortunately they were no good. Should've kept the receipt. Will know for next time, thanks!
I'm using the caviar illumination intensive masks now. I'm up to day 4 now, I apply it at night and In The morning my face feels so smooth. It has really made a difference to my complexion. It has to be one of the best lacura products I've tried
Sounds really good, Fefe, must see of they're still available when I go on my next Aldi shop
The Lacura caviar products are available Wed 9 May as part of the special buys before mother's day.
I saw these in the latest catalogue and I have to agree with Scarlet Angel about them being a La Prairie dupe without the exxy price tag. They look good so I'm keen to try them out - I wonder if they're as good as La Prairie!
The products I've tried from aldi have been really good. I haven't tried this range but I'm super interested in those face masks. They look great.
I went to my local Aldi today and they had about 30 each of the Lacura Caviar products. They had testers for foundation and concealer, the light and medium were warm yellow toned. I didn't try the dark.
I've been using the Lacura Caviar serum that came out as a mother's day special buy. It has 15ml of serum packaged in a tall slim bottle, you push the bottom to dispense. Besides caviar extract, the formula includes antioxidants, amino acids, Vit B5, Snow Algae extract, hyaluronic acid.
The serum is blue, a bit on the thick side and the texture is quite silicone-y. I used 2-3 drops. It feels quite hydrating and I experienced no irritation. I can use it even after exfoliation (which usually leaves my skin a bit sensitive). It's too early to say whether there are any long term benefits, but it is quite nice texture-wise.
Oh I missed this Jupiter I am just newly going to Aldi and today they had a Caviar mask, eye mousse and a foundation/concealer. I got all 3 and am super excited. If these rival Laprairie, as I just checked the prices and OMG, like Over $1000 just for one cream!!!!!
I hope they get the serum again soon. I see these aren't advertised in the catalogue? Or on the website so how do you know when they are getting new stock?
Oh nice, Shop A Everyday, I hope you will enjoy these products. Please let us know how you go :)
I also have the eye mousse but haven't tried it yet.
I will do. Do you know how often they release, these products haven't been in the last 2 catalogues , it would be good to know when they are released so i can plan a trip
They were released as special buys the Saturday before mother's day this year. Usually towards end of Nov/early Dec they will do another box set of AM moisturiser/PM moisturiser/eye cream before Christmas. This has been the pattern since I knew about this line in 2018.
I've used the caviar serum but unfortunately noticed no improvement in my skin, the same with the treatment pack, it was in little vials to be used morning and night ( I don't remember what it was called) .
Not much makes a drastic improvement for me these days anyway, the good news is neither of them irritated my sensitive skin. I have seen these products for sale on Ebay - snapped up by wannabe entrepreneurs looking to make a sale with a big markup.
When I'm in Aldi I always look at what Lacura products they have as I have heard good reports on this brand.
I use the eye makeup remover which is very good but have not been able to repurchase it.
I started using the AM and PM moisturisers in the range about 10 days ago, so this is just my first impressions. I'm glad I opened them in winter as they are quite thick moisturisers in jar packaging. The scent is similar but lighter than the serum in the same range. They have an almost whipped texture and feel quite luxurious, but is still quite thick and occlusive. It takes quite a long time to absorb on my combination skin - I feel like there is a film on my skin even after half an hour, but after that it seems to feel fine. Haven't been wearing make-up so can't comment on how well the AM moisturiser sits underneath make-up. The PM moisturiser feels a bit thicker than the AM one, but I'm less fussy about texture with PM since I'm sleeping anyway. It does seem to keep my skin moisturised until the morning.
Can't comment about improved radiance or appearance of fine lines after such a short time period, but I don't think the texture is very suitable for me. I would only recommend it for those who lean towards dry skin.
Will update if my opinion changes...
Thanks jupiter for your thoughts and first impressions on this range.
This serum comes in a black box with a picture of the serum on the packaging.
I’m in the middle with this product, I have equal good and bad points that I’m a bit undecided. The product comes in a large easy to use pump. Very convenient.
I really enjoy the scent of this product. I love it so much I look forward to using it every night, it’s really fresh and invigorating. The liquid itself is a very thin gel, almost watery.
