Korean makeup & skincare - my experiences and please share yours!
The list below is my personal experience with Korean brand makeup and beauty products. I've been converted for about 3 years when I picked some up overseas while in Asia and hooked ever since!
Please share your experiences and brands - I've only touched on a few! Some general notes I'll start with:
Skincare – oil cleansers, solid oil balms, essences, ampoules, serums, confused? Read this helpful board on Reddit, it explains all the steps for Asian skincare and also some ingredients to look out for https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/comments/2jcss2/asian_skincare_101_a_beginners_guide_faq/
Looking for trusted online sellers? check out this list on Reddit of trusted sellers people are purchasing through. https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/comments/290to0/giant_list_of_websites_ebayers_etc/
also thanks to Preciousia this site also analyzes products and gives you a breakdown of ingredients: http://www.cosdna.com/
Asian Beauty Reddit is another board I stalk on a regular basis, it's pretty helpful https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/
edit to add I just tidied up the first post as I was getting tired scrolling past that long one lol

Regular buyer for a long time.
Im stuck buying this product literally. I used it when my children were babies and now there a bit older and understand they no bath, cream, then bed. No cream = no bed for 3 very angry toddlers.
Smooth cream that doesn’t feel too heavy
This moisturiser has a lovely smooth texture and glides onto my skin beautifully. I found it left my skin feeling soft and supple and it also wears well under makeup.
Goodness in a Jar
After more than a week of using Pro X by Olay Anti Aging Wrinkle Smoothing Cream I can really say that the I ❤️ the product;

Don't know if you peeps have read the BC article last week about the Elizavecca hair treatment being a dupe for Olaplex?
https://www.beautycrew.com.au/k-beauty-olaplex-dupe-hair-treatment
Of course I ordered it lol, should be here soonish, will be good to see if it beats the blue La'dor ampoule. It's about $10 including postage on ebay.
Anxiously awaiting your thoughts duality. Been putting off buying a bottle of Olaplex for a while since I have so many treatments to get through.
I missed this! Thanks for sharing duality! I’ve been tempted to try Olaplex however trying to get thru my stash also. Can not wait for your review!!!
Ooooh!
Thanks duality!
Such an enabler! I think I just purchased it from the same eBay seller!
I'll be interested in hearing your thought on this product. I bought Olapex treatment 2 weeks ago and I've used it twice. I haven't noticed a different to my hair yet but I'm keen to try this product after reading the article.
Purito is 60% off on Yesstyle right now. Not sure if that is cheaper than if you buy elsewhere but prices look decent. I still have yet to try this brand but duality is our resident guinea pig/expert on Purito.
Checking it out now!
Thx! ❤️☺️
Papa Recipe sheet masks in boxes are available on Catch of the Day now but I think the prices are just a little bit high.
The second beauty box is available at RoseRoseShop now $33 with free shipping

Combined mini haul all arrived this AM. Some repurchases like the Wonder Tears and the blue hair ampoules but the Elizavecca Olaplex dupe, Mis En Scene, and Peripera are new to me.
Not Kbeauty related but my silicone sponge arrived, dang it’s softer than I thought, thank goodness, thought it might be hard being silicone coated but it’s so squishy, could use it dry for those who prefer to do that. Will try it tomorrow as my face was already on :)
Nice haul duality. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the Elizavecca hair treatment once you've tried it a few times.
Will do!
What's the difference between this and the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Collagen Coating Protein Ion Injection? Maybe the better question is how do they work together?
Yes, awesome haul! Also interested in hair treatment...following your updates Duality.
I have the two Mis En Scene as well!
anyone tried
Yes...I have it and am not impressed...I have better things and it contains alcohol something I did not realise... it's now been so long since I used an alcohol-based toner on my skin it just will not tolerate it anymore...I think you can do better in K beauty products...if I think of another high niacinamide one I will let you know...I just use my normal toner which is Mizon AHA BHA and use the ordinary niacinamide after that...far higher than the amount in Nacific
I really keen on Huxley
I've used a lot of the Huxley range. The original Huxley essence is incredible.
Do you remember the exact name? Cos Huxley has 4 different serum/essence, not quite sure which is the original one. Thanks, lovely!
Huxley Secret of Sahara Oil Essence
AWESOME! Thank you so much!
Glow Recipe is now available at Mecca. The new Pineapple serum won't be dropping until next month. I'm pretty excited about the avocado sleeping mask, but I have an allergy to watermelon so will likely avoid the watermelon range. Otherwise, I am not dropping over $50 for a (blueberry) cleanser.

I was going to post this, you beat me to it =) I am interested in the avacado sleeping mask and pineapple serum as well!
