What is everyone's fav moisuriser ?
I don't have a favourite, I use anything for my neck & chest area as I like trying out new product's, I use serum's on my face only.
I have a few faves. My fave day ones: in "normal" weather (not hot or cold) Antipodes Vanilla Pod hydrating day cream
Over summer/ hot weather: The Body Shop Glow Boost Vitamin C moisturiser.
Winter day cream: Trilogy Ultra Hydrating day cream
Nighttime faves: antipodes avacado pear is my all-time fave =) trilogy rosapene night cream/overnight mask is another fave.
Clinique Smart Serum
Ohhh I was looking at that a while back, I want to try it sometime
I love it have used it for years more like a gel consistency but very moisturising and seems to keep the fine lines and wrinkles at bay, you can probably get a small sample a Clinique counter if you wanted to try it first. It is quite expensive but lasts a while.
Clinique actually has a free gift with purchase over $60 at the moment, actually a brilliant time to try it out.
Avene skin recovery cream . The Rich one in winter/evening when my skin is drier , and the normal one the rest of the time
Right now for winter, Trilogy's Rosehip Oil. So gentle, soothing and nourishing on dry skin.
Right now for winter: Trilogy's Rosehip Oil. So gentle, soothing and nourishing for my dry skin.
That's a nice product !
Skin Physics Bee Venom Advanced Anti-Aging Moisturiser, although I don't think it is available anymore. I bought a few jars a while back.
Coconut Oil or Rosehip Plus...
At the moment the olay whips moisturiser is my favourite, I just love the consistency!
I love using Skin physics red dragons blood as a night cream. Makes my skin look plump and vibrant when I wake up in the morning.
I haven't tried this product sounds good though
CeraVe Moisturising Lotion for day.
CeraVe Moisturising Lotion PM with added carrot seed oil, rosehip oil, sea buckthorn oil for night...
CeraVe is the best IMHO!
Have used many Facial Moisturisers many have a lot of hype but don't do what they are supposed to do.
L'Oreal Rivtalift, Olay Regenerist, and Trialing Nevia Cellular Filler.
The only Tip I have is to moisturise your face in your early teens using good quality brands. Always use Sunscreen on your Face there are many light face Sunscreens and always use a Primer under Makeup.
A must-have for me is Rodan+Fields Active Hydration serum.
Oh spammers are back.
I don't have one that I cannot live without. But again and again I come back to Dermalogica Active Moist. It is just the right consistency for me day or night. Recently also tried out Ella Bache Hydrating jelly Shot which is awesome. The clinique hydrating jelly is an affordable version of it, but I prefer Ella Bache because it feels more hydrating with a lesser amount . I tend to like light textures.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Matte, or Clinique Stay Matte Hydrator for the day, and any light moisturiser at night. At the moment I'm really liking the feel of Olay oil-free moisturiser that I got from Chemist Warehouse.
To be very very truthful at the risk of looking like a compleat dag cheapskate and eccentric!!! not to mention non-vegan...hide in shame!
I always go back to the best IMHO Korean brand Elizavecca Eye Want cream made out of 50% swiftlet nest extract [yes birds droppings] with niacinamide plus adenosine...
This stuff is my secret weapon I also own the matching serum [97% droppings]...when I want to look good or feel good this stuff is the bomb even by Korean standards I don't like most Elizavecca products they are or can be gimmicky but this cream is sublime silky and actually works cosdna says it has small amounts alcohol and a few irritants in it...but I ignore that because of what it does for my face.
Warning I have very dry skin if you are interested to get it if you still can get it...
I’m in love with that new brand Samson & Charlie The Gift Balancing Oil I use it everyday it’s made my skin look amazing.
I picked up a tub of this cream for under $3. I admittedly purchased it because I was intrigued that a vitamin E cream was so cheap, but very surprised how good it is.
I received a sample sachet of this day cream and I’m in love. The scent is so lovely and delicate - a nice floral scent that isn’t too overpowering.
I love ecotools as they are environmentally friendly and are great brushes that are on the more affordable side at a medium price range compared to other brands.
