The Body Shop British Rose Eau de Toilette
bh’s Anna says:
I am such a big fan of rose fragrances and I love that they're making a comeback! Rose is such a gorgeous, feminine and classic scent and the new Body Shop British Rose EDT captures it in a perfectly subtle way. I've been spritzing this on my pulse points on work days and it gives me a soft, floral fragrance without being overpowering. I also use the exfoliating scrub and body butter from the British Rose range (yep, I'm a total fan girl). I wouldn't swap my beloved Marc Jacobs perfumes for this one on nights out but it's the perfect daytime fragrance!
Klorane Shampoo and Conditioner with Flax Fiber
bh’s Astrid says:
I’m not particularly devoted to a certain shampoo and conditioner – in fact, I recently interviewed Jaye Edwards and he confirmed what I’ve always believed: that it’s best to change your shampoo and conditioner up regularly. At the moment I’m using the Klorane Shampoo and Conditioner with Flax Fiber. Firstly, I love Klorane products, because they’re formulated using natural plant extracts, so not only are they a good choice for my hair, they smell great, too. This new range works to detangle your hair and give it lift, without weighing it down. Since using this shampoo and conditioner, I’ve noticed my roots do have a little more lift, but more importantly I also can wait longer between washes, and my hair doesn’t feel dehydrated and dry. There’s also a leave-in spray from the range I’ve been meaning to try – will have to get back to you on that one!
NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls
bh’s Kate says:
This is a great serum to prep the skin before you apply moisturiser. I LOVE the little balls (they pop with every application) which makes the product start actively working just before it hits your skin. My face felt smooth and hydrated while I was trialling this product. Another bonus – NIVEA products are such a great price point – and I especially like the Q10 range which doesn't feel heavy (even though I'm quite liberal with my application) or leave any residue on my face. It smells lovely and fresh too!
Face of Australia Nude Eyeshadow Palette
bh’s Julia says:
I've always been one to wear nude shades so this palette is perfect for me! The colours came out quite light which was great for a daytime look, but if I wanted a darker look I found using the lightest colour as a base made the colours come out quite pigmented. They had a nice smooth texture which made it very easy to blend to get a beautiful smoky look that didn't take too long. It also lasted all day without leaving crease marks. Given there are 15 shades, the palette offers many options to create different looks, making the product really versatile. And the slim packaging is perfect to pop in my bag when I'm on the go. I'm glad I have finally found the perfect palette for amazing eye-popping looks.

I like the sound of the Klorane shampoo and conditioner. It's great that it also has natural plant extracts which would benefit hair.

I really enjoy silicone free haircare as it means I don’t need to wash my hair as often (less build up), and it is so much more natural and good for the environment!

I've been silicone-free with my hair products for over two years. I'm pleasantly surprised to find out that the Klorane conditioner in this article is free of silicones.

I've only ever tried Klorane's dry shampoo so will have to read more about their regular shampoo/conditioners. I actually had an email the other day with a discount coupon for that Flax range but deleted it. I'll be kicking myself if it turns out I want to try it after reading the reviews!

I like FOA because they don't test on animals... I love The Body Shop but they're so misleading now, saying they're against animal testing (as they used to be cruelty free) but they DO test on animals, through their selling to Asia as of the last four or five years. So many "cruelty free" companies aren't cruelty free but legally they can claim that they are. Research and read the fine print!!!

The Body Shop are also owned by L'oreal which test on animals. I know lots of people say they've sold out due to that fact alone.

I find Choose Cruelty Free is a pretty good source of information: http://www.choosecrueltyfree.org.au/cruelty-free-list/ Companies have to be registered to use their logo, and they're pretty strict on their conditions.

Great Article! I love Klorane shampoos too, haven't tried this one yet, however I soon will :) Not sure about the Nivea Q10 Plus anti-wrinkle replenishing pearls because last I bought the Nivea anti-ageing day and night cream combo and it broke me out badly :(
