How to survive the party season
There’s no doubt about it, the party season is officially in full swing! To ensure you survive the next few weeks, make time for your beauty prep. From caring for your stressed-out locks to perfecting those finishing touches, here are five ways to look your best this month.
#1 GET YOUR HAIR IN TOP CONDITION
With a massive month of celebrating ahead, you need your hair to be looking its best from start to finish. Without showing your locks a little pre-party TLC, they don’t stand a chance against all that heat styling and outdoor summer fun. The Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner helps to repair three months worth of damage in just three minutes – giving your locks a good dose of moisture before the onslaught of party styling begins. Paired with the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo, your hair will look and feel healthier in just one wash. The perfect shower companions for those of us with a mighty busy schedule.
#2 DIY FACE MASK
Prepare your skin for a month of partying with a DIY face mask that has multiple benefits, like a honey mask that will revive, hydrate and fight blemishes for a glowing complexion. So even if you’re feeling exhausted, your skin won’t give you away!
#3 AT-HOME MANICURE
Treat yourself to an at-home manicure that’s on-trend and fresh for the party season. Glitter, chrome or rose gold nails are a perfect party accessory, while red and coral will make your summer tan really pop.
#4 TEST NYE MAKEUP
Party season is the best time of year to play around with your beauty look, but for the big New Year’s Eve event, you want to get it just right. Take the time to experiment with your makeup, and find out what look works best for you. A red lipstick is one of our favourites (and a timeless classic!) but not all lippies last the distance. Make sure you choose one with a hydrating and long-lasting formula.
#5 REPAIR HAIR DAMAGE
After all that summer fun, sun and heat-styling, it’s important to check in with your locks and evaluate the damage. To get your hair back to its pre-party condition, use the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner to restore strength and shine. After just one wash, your hair will be soft, healthy and happy – even if you’re done with the partying and ready to sleep for a year!

I'm loving Astrid's ombré. I've been too busy to redo mine.

I don't party much at all, but for those who need long wearing makeup:
- Revlon Colourstay foundation (long lasting and good in humid weather) has versions for both dry and combo/oily skin
-a lip colour that if it fades it isn't very noticeable or a lip balm stain that doesn't stain the lips a completely different shade when it wears
Stay hydrated because all that junk food and alcohol can make you dehydrated and ill. Water and sugar-free electrolyte sports drinks are good.

Some many festivities in December. My skin definitely shows signs from all of the food and drinks, where its not healthy.

I think just drink plenty of water and don't drink too much alcohol.

Not too many parties for me this year, but I'm still more than happy to pamper myself, lol

I've got a newborn so I'd love the time to be able to pamper myself just before the holiday season safe to say I think it may be unrealistic for me just yet haha

I am time poor and never tried hair masks, but pantene hair care works very well with my dry hair.

I've tried the pantene 3 minute miracle treatment (not conditioner) and it is a good quick fix. However the silicone left on hair needs to be washed off before styling again to make the hairstyle stay longer

I've got to try this Pantene out. Drinking water regularly helps me too.

The Pantene 3 minute miracle is really good. It smells lovely too. It goes on sale quite often which is a bonus.

I sooo love this time of year but always remember the spf to keep my skin in top condition. I think a good hair mask and a good pair of earrings fixes everything plus a glow. Oh and a great manicure with summer colours fixes everything too!!

I love to have a full facial at home once a week. My skin loves it! I need to focus on my hair and body a bit more too.

I make sure I use a hair mask at least once a week. My tip for how to get through the party season is to eat a good breakfast. With all the hectic running around during this time of the year and all of the get togethers, lunch and dinner are the meals we're most likely to have the least control over. Starting the day with a good nutritious breakfast (like fruit smoothies and veggie packed omelettes with whole grain toast) will cut down on over eating later in the day and help to balance out some of those cheat foods that we tend to cheat with more this time of year.

I think I will get a trim before the holidays kick in. Oil treatments should also keep things smooth and shiny.

I have been using this for a few weeks now and i really have noticed that my hair looks better, more shine and I also have found that I have less frizz . And now that i am getting my hair looking good, I need to work more on my skin, especially with the weather heating up.

Great advice if I didn't already have hair care sewn up with products I'm not about to change.
