Initial thoughts on viewing the product:

I was really surprised at the size of the bottle; extremely large when compared to similarly-priced competitors! This 350ml white bottle comes with a lovely golden flip top cap with a secure latch / snap. The scent is also lovely and not at all overpowering (winner on that point). It’s light, slightly floral and won’t compete with your chosen fragrance of the day.

Thoughts on application:

I was quite impressed with the amount of lather I obtained with my first use. Definitely economical. I have quite a bit of hair so I used just shy of a 50 cent piece for a single shampoo, obtaining a very rich lather. What I did not like in my first and subsequent uses was the dry and straw-like feeling my hair had once I rinsed. My hair felt very dry and very parched. I understand the point of shampooing is to open the hair cuticle in preparation for conditioning and/or treatment however I felt my hair’s reaction was rather extreme. I also felt considering how my hair has been with previous / recently used products, this was a very surprising and negative reaction.

As a 10-in-1 multi tasker, I felt my hair was worse rather than better for using this shampoo. I didn’t feel it was a particularly good preventative product, nor did I feel it smoothed my hair (in fact, I think it was frizzier). I will admit to having some shine without the assistance of other aftercare however my hair breakage had increased.

Following the regime for the trial, I also suffered from a very itchy scalp. I used the shampoo and conditioner for the full trial period.

Subsequently, I was rather dissatisfied with this product and I will not continue to use this shampoo with the conclusion of this trial.

Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 Repair & Protect Shampoo claims to deliver 10 hair benefits in one. These are, prevent split ends, strengthen against breakage, smooth the hair, moisturise, soften, enhance shine, improve manageability, detangle, restore natural volume and provide balanced cleansing. Sounds great, but these are huge claims.

I was fortunate enough to be sent this shampoo as part of the Trial Team. I will admit to being hesitant about using Pantene products, but put my prejudice aside and gave this shampoo a try.

It comes in a sleek white bottle, typical of the Pantene line.

Upon opening the bottle, I was delighted with the fruity fragrance, I nice pick me up when using in the morning.

The consistency is pretty typical of a shampoo, not dripping, but easy to squeeze out of the bottle.

Only a small amount is needed to wash my just-below-shoulder length hair. I didn't even need to double wash like I normally do. The shampoo lathered very well, cleansing my hair but not stripping it.

For a budget price, the Pantene Ultimate 10 Shampoo surprised me with how well it preformed.

I have used a few Pantene products in the past so I was keen to give this one a go.

Both the shampoo and conditioner have the usual Pantene scent which is nice and light not overpowering at all.

I have hair juts below my shoulders that is quite thick, but I only needed a small amount which lathered nicely. I did notice that the Shampoo left my hair feeling rather dry and all tangled, normally with my current shampoo I can skip a day of conditioning and not even notice, with Pantene however I definitely needed to condition after very shampoo.

I am still undecided as to there I would re purchase this product maybe with a bit more use my hair will adjust to it.

I was lucky enough to be a part of the Pantene Pro-V ULTIMATE 10 REPAIR & PROTECT SHAMPOO . Two weeks back i received my pack and it was packed nicely. The Shampoo comes in a shiny white oblong shaped bottle with a nice bright golden top. The shape of the bottle is great and it fits very well in the and and looks great in the bathroom as well.

I loved the thick ,creamy texture of the shampoo. It was easy to take out the required quantity because of the thick texture. I always get more than required quantity of the shampoo where they have a very runny consistency which only leads to wastage.

I loved the light fragrance of the shampoo and only a little quantity was enough to make a good amount of leather that was sufficient to clean my hair.

The shampoo claims that it will help prevent split ends, strengthen against breakage, smooth the hair, moisturise, soften, enhance shine, improve manageability, detangle, restore natural volume and provide balanced cleansing. In the last two weeks i have seen very good results and i am sure with the regular use i can achieve all above saidresults.

I can already see the shine in my hair, they don't detangle much and are very easy to comb , they are easy to manage and clean as well. I am looking forward to use the shampoo regularly and get the best results on regular basis.

Overall i loved using the Pantene Pro-V ULTIMATE 10 REPAIR & PROTECT SHAMPOO and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have nice,bright ,shiny and strong hair that are easy to manage.

I was lucky enough to be offered the Trial for the Pantene Ultimate 10 Shampoo and Conditioner and although I had previously tried other Pantene products, I was excited to see what this range could do for my hair.

The Shampoo comes in a white oblong bottle with gold lid and Pantene's signature logo, however I actually thought that this bottle was a little more upmarket from my previous Shampoo bottles and actually looked quite stylish in my shower.
It also comes in 350ml which I found extra value for money as most Shampoos and Conditioners are your regular 250ml.

Upon opening your met with a deliciously light fragrance that isn't at all overpowering and the texture of this Shampoo is quite thick and creamy. Once in the shower I did notice that once you squeeze the Shampoo out the aroma intensifies but isn't at all too overpowering so your left with a fabulous fragrance wafting through your bathroom.

Now a little goes a long way with this Shampoo as it is quite thick and creamy so it should last you quite a while even if you do wash your hair everyday like I do, Now Pantene claims that this range will help with 10 different hair problems from split ends to lack of volume and everywhere in between, however I was just interested in whether or not this would help with the breakage and hair fall I have been experiencing of late.

Now after washing my hair with this Shampoo and using the matching Conditioner I did find I had a lot less tangles and my brush glided easily through my hair after my shower. I also found that when drying my hair it was quite soft and bouncy and my hair had a nice sheen to it that I hadn't seen in a little while due to being a little lazy with taking better care of my locks.

Now I have been using this everyday for almost two weeks and I can honestly say that my hair has improved greatly and I have had a lot less breakage and hair fall since using this product. And when teamed with the conditioner you have two great products at a very affordable price.

I would highly recommend this to those that have been a little lazy with their hair as this product does what it claims and for me I saw results after a few days of use and after using this for almost two weeks my hair is looking nice and healthy again for the first time in a little while. Another great product from Pantene.

I have used Pantene in the past so this product would be a good one to remind me of my roots (pun intended).

This shampoo has the fruity, crisp scent that is so typical of Pantene products. The shampoo in itself has a medium thickness consistency – it isn’t runny and mostly what you expect from a shampoo.

The shampoo lathers up quite well, you don’t need to spend much time to lather the product up in your hands. As soon as you massage it into your hair, it builds lather quickly. I was quite surprised when I used the amount of shampoo I usually do (the size of a small apricot for my medium length thick hair), the amount of lather produced was much more than I anticipated. Subsequently, it took me a relatively long time to make sure that all traces of shampoo and lather were gone from my hair.

My hair felt squeaky clean after using the shampoo, so much so that they almost like they didn’t want anything to do with the other strands of my hair – my strands felt frizzy and separated at the ends. The difference in my hair texture was quite noticeable once I got out of the shower. The conditioner helped tame the frizz a bit, but I still had to use a lot of hair oil and leave in conditioners to control the frizz.
Using the shampoo the second time round yielded the same results; I found I had to wash my hair more often to counter the oily roots, but then it created a cycle of frizzy ends that needed taming.

I will try to finish this shampoo or leave it to my husband, who loved using it.
Would I repurchase? Most likely for my husband

Maybe it's just me, but I realized the effects straight after my first use. When dry, my hair was so smooth (no flyaways), glossy and soft that it looked like I had it blow dried - and honestly all I did was just sit back and let it air dry as usual. I also have permed hair, and when my hair dried it was curly and wavy in perfection. The shampoo is relatively easy to lather but the bottle needs to be improved as its a bit hard to squeeze out a small amount.

It feels great but actually I wouldn't buy Pantene (or Dove) products for two reasons: one, because their packaging looks dull and two, their products all smell the same. If, for example theirs looked more like Herbal Essences and had a variety of amazing scents I would definitely buy Pantene. But over the years their packaging has stayed pretty much the same.

The first thing I noticed about this shampoo and its matching conditioner is that they both smell divine - fresh and fruity - and that's almost reason enough to use them for me!

The second thing I noticed about the shampoo is that it cleans really well. I have dry hair and I tend to use hydrating products and leave-in treatments that can really weigh my hair down, and this shampoo removed everything with just one wash. I do double-wash my hair each time, but I almost don't need to with this product because it does such a great job of cleaning.

On that, it also removed build-up from the haircare I was using prior to this, so for me it has a clarifying effect too.

What's fantastic about this shampoo is that it leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean but never stripped. My hair just feels light, fluffy and soft after washing, and it's more manageable too.

I've also found that the shampoo/conditioner combo leaves my hair so clean and shiny that I need to wash it less: I normally wash my dry hair every five days, but with these products I can push it out to seven or eight days (without having to use dry shampoo).

I've taken off one star because this product does nothing for my frizz and I still need to use de-frizzing products after washing, which I don't with some other haircare. But that's a small price to pay for products that otherwise tick all the boxes, and it's something I can live with.

All in all, this is a fantastic shampoo and I recommend it. My hair hasn't felt this clean in ages, which means it's looking more shiny than usual too.

I received this shampoo as part of the trial team. The 350ml bottle sells for $3.99 at Chemist Warehouse or $8.50 elsewhere. I tested it with absolutely no biases as I have no used Pantene for more than a decade now. This shampoo was tested alongside the conditioner.

I have healthy, dyed ash brown hair. Mu hair is approximately bust length and thick. Prior to starting this Trial, my hair was at its' Tip Top condition after a recent salon visit hair dye and treatment.

Ingredients: 
Water, Sdium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycol Disterate, Dimethicone, Sodium Citrate, Cocamide MEA, Sodium Xylensulfonate, Fragrance, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Guar Hydroxpropyltrimonium Chloride, Tetrasoidum EDTA, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Polyquaternium-6, PAthenol, Penthyl Ethyl Ether, Methylchlorosiothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.

How did my Hair Look & Feel?
Initially, it was great, my hair felt soft and silky. The shampoo which contains SLS and Cocamidopropyl Betaine lathers really well, there was lots of foam which made it easy to spread. I do not wash my hair every day, usually once in 3-4 days. With this shampoo, i find myself having to wash it once in 2 days as the roots get oily faster.
By the 2nd wash, i noticed buildup in my hair and  my hair was really dry instead of how soft and hydrated it usually was. By the 3rd wash, i noticed my hair colour which i just spent hundreds on has faded. Dry hair continues. The hair looks "healthy" but feels dry and dehydrated with mild tendencies to tangle.

Do you think it helped with hair's appearance?
The Dimethicone deceived me initially into thinking everything was hunky dory until i had all the buildup in my hair that's when it went downhill. The shampoo made my hair worse. I will have to spend more money fixing than the costs of the shampoo.
The worst bit is that it made my hair colour fade.

Ingredients
I like EDTA (good for hard water), Pathenol (Vitamin B5), Cocamidopropyl Betaine & Cocamide MEA (milder surfactants) and Polyquaternium-6 (anti-static). The only ingredients i didn't like was the SLS and silicones.

Packaging:
I really like the packaging. It is simple and it works. The cap closes snugly and it wouldn't burst open if i were to throw it in a gym bag. Oddly enough the shampoo bottle cap is on the top and the conditioner cap is at the bottom of the bottle. The bottle is designed really intelligently as it can stand on both ends (which is great when you are at the tail end of your product). 

How did the product smell?
The smell was my favourite part of the product. After shampooing and conditioning with the Pantene shampoo, my whole bathroom lingered with a beautiful fruity fragrance. Granted that the fragrance is probably synthetic but my sensitive skin did not suffer any allergies from it.

How did the product feel?
Sadly, bad. Hair feels dry and dehydrated. 

How easy was it to use?
Unlike most shampoos I usually use, this does not require double shampoo. Just wet your hair, apply product and lather. The shampoo foams and lathers well.

How did it make you feel?
Awful. I am going to go out to get 2 boxes of hair colour to refresh my hair colour now. Right after i use a clarifying shampoo to strip the silicone buildup and a deep moisturising shampoo to reinstate the moisture.

These could deliver the best results for your hair type, as the shampoo is gentle and the 3 Minute Miracle conditioner has a very lightweight feel, whilst helping to nourish and keep hair noticeably healthy.
