Four reasons you NEED to see this chick flick

There are few things in this world I love more than a good chick flick. There’s just something wonderful about sitting back and relaxing to a comedy that’ll make you laugh and cry at the same time, while also making you fall utterly in love with, well, love.
That’s precisely why I Give It A Year is the next flick on my To Watch list. It’s about a pair of newlyweds taking on their first year of marriage and the preview is an absolute hoot. A gorgeous man and ex-girlfriend threaten to derail said pair’s union, and their many attempts to save their relationship from these alluring factors seems to be outrageously funny in the shorts. I can’t wait to watch it.
Not sure if this movie is for you? I’ve got four amazing reasons why it is, and why you definitely need to add it to your To Watch list, too…
REASON #1: it stars Rose Byrne, and she is beautiful.
And we all love to look at pretty ladies on the big screen, don’t we? She’s also rather humorous, and then there’s the fact she’s an Aussie. And Aussies love other Aussies, so it would basically be un-Australian not to watch this flick. Just sayin’.
REASON #2: it also stars Simon Baker, and he is devilishly handsome.
Every good chick flick needs some man candy, and Mr Baker is just that. He’s got charm, he’s got wit, he’s also Australian and he’s got some of the glossiest blonde hair I’ve ever seen. I would love to know what shampoo and conditioner he uses, actually…
REASON #3: it’s produced by the brains behind Notting Hill and Love Actually.
And Bridget Jones’ Diary. And they are some of the best romantic movies of our time. So, there’s not even a sliver of a chance this movie will be rubbish. No chance at all.
REASON #4: just like crying, laughing is cathartic.
And you’ll find yourself in a state of giggles many times during this chick flick, which truly is a wonderful thing. Oh, and if you’re currently married, have been married in the past or are definitely planning on becoming married at some point in your life, you’ll find this all the more tummy-tickling, as well as somewhat educational.
Still not convinced? Watch the trailer and then you’ll be hooked. Trust me.

I've seen the ads, but I'm not really a chick flick kind of gal. I would rather watch an action flick.
