Norwegian Formula Hand Cream Reviews

I don't use hand creams regularly. I drink a lot of water, so my skin is usually well hydrated. But, occasionally in winter, when I go out in the wind & rain, my hands can get rough. One or two applications has my hands back to normal.

The thick white cream has a consistency like petroleum jelly & barely any scent. It absorbs quickly, leaving no greasy residue.

I buy this hand cream in the little 14g tube, which is the perfect size for my handbag.

REPURCHASE? I've bought numerous tubes of this over the years. I'm happy with it, but I'm trying to buy Australian-made products whenever possible, so my latest purchase was DU'IT hand cream.

Made in USA of domestic & imported components.

INGREDIENTS: Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diauryl Thiodipropionate, Sodium Sulfate, Fragrance.

This hand cream is cheap while it does its job. It keeps the hand soft and the fragrance is not too strong. The size of the hand cream is just nice as it is not too big or too small. Hence, I can easily keep it in my handbag.

As a nurse and washing/ancohol rubbing my hands hundreds of times a day, my hands and cuticles are pretty horrible. I purchased Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula Hand Cream after seeing it on the counter, I have tried many hand creams and majority of them do nothing, this on the other hand works!! A tiny tube has lasted me months, you really only need the tiniest amount, i apply when I jump into bed as it does leave the hands quite greasy but in the morning they are beautifully moisturised!

I am totally in love with this hand cream. In winter I get extremely dry hands to the point they hurt, when I came across this hand cream from a friend I fell in love instantly I went out and bought two tubes that night. It's quiet a thick formula but doesn't leave the hands feeling greasy. I also use it on the bottoms of my legs during winter as I get a dry patch on both legs just above my feet and it cracks and stings, lathering this on my legs before bed within two days my legs are no longer red, scaly and stingy.

Other hand creams feel nice on the skin instantly but it doesn't help with dryness in the long term.

I've also used this hand cream on my lips and dry eyelids and it has helped a treat. I just couldn't use it everyday or under makeup as I have super oily skin.

This is my holy grail hand cream. I have constantly dry hands, and love having my hands soft. I've tried all sorts of hand creams: The Body Shop, Lanolips, Garnier, Jergens, Aveeno (and all the other nicely scented ones) and none of them moisturised my hands enough.

The Neutrogena hand cream is a thick hand cream that smells of like floral old lady perfume (which I actually really like!) and never fails to moisturise my hands. It restores even the most cracked and dry hands (from when after I've hand washed the dishes, to friends who basically have never ever heard of hand cream before) and I've repurchased this hand cream more times than I can count.

When Priceline has their 40% off skincare sales, I go in just to stock up on this hand cream and nothing else. Would highly recommend !

I bought a small tube (14g) of the Norwegian Formula handcream from Priceline mostly because it was cheap and right beside the register. But I do have seriously dry hands andcat the moment they are covered in itchy eczema too. I've tried everything on them including cortisone cream but nothing much soothes them except this handcream! It has a nice balm like texture - a bit like Vaseline but not as sticky. I don't have the fragrance -free cream but it doesn't have much of a smell anyway. It soaks in but also leaves a residue on the surface of the skin like a barrier cream. This means that the cream largely stays on even if you wash your hands.

It is very hydrating and instantly moisturises my dry skin and leaves them feeling soft and comforted. I really like this handcream and will definitely consider buying a full sized tube once the trial sized one is finished. Excellent product!

This is a really effective moisturising hand cream. Only a small amount of the clear gel-like formula is required - making the product great value for money.

The cream receives dryness instantly, softening and smoothing. It leaves a protective, but not greasy film on the skin. The moisturising effects are visible and long lasting.

It has a very mild scent that won’t interfere with any other scented products you are wearing.

The plastic tube is practical and easy to use.

If it included a sunscreen it would be perfect!

I tend to have really dry hands. especially in winter ... the cold air seems to dry them out more than normal.. I have tried so many different types of hand cream..this one is good..Quite thick in texture compared to a lot of other ones i have tried in the past.. but really moisturises..you only need a little bit so a small bottle goes a long way..good for the price that it is.

My hands are always dry and wrinkly because I tend to wash my hands a lot. The harsh and dry weather also causes my hands to lose its moisture. This hand cream is one of the only hand creams that are thick enough and hydrating enough to keep my hands feeling soft and hydrated. Because of its thicker creamy texture, I generally use it during the night and slather on a thicker layer on my hands and elbows. The cream keeps my hands and elbow hydrated and soft overnight.

The cream does leave my hands feeling slightly greasy but not uncomfortable. I do recommend this as a night treatment when you do not need to touch anything. It helps soothes the skin, as well as moisturise the skin. It is slightly pricey for a small tube of hand cream, however, it is well worth the price and really effective. The packaging is really convenient and hygienic to keep on the bedside table.
