What on earth are negative space brows?

This year the brow trends have been erm... interesting. Somehow, we have gone from over-plucking eyebrows in the 90s, to madly filling them in, to experimenting on them like crazy.
In 2017 we have seen squiggle brows, feather brows and barbed wire brows - and that’s only scraping the surface!
Now, a makeup artist has brought us another wacky brow trend: negative space eyebrows.

Remember negative space eyeliner? That trend left skin bare on certain parts of the eye while the areas around it were filled in with makeup.
That same idea of drawing attention around a feature is now being applied to brows.

A makeup artist known as Kapasovia on Instagram, is the one who created these brows. One look at her feed and you'll see she is regularly getting creative and experimenting with makeup.
We know it isn't the most wearable brow trend. It's more like makeup art. But if you like to play around with your makeup at home, or need a Halloween look, then maybe this could be your new inspiration!

In her post, Kapasovia mentioned a few products that she used to create the whole look (which also featured negative space liner). She used the M.A.C Studio Chromagraphic Pencil, Wibo Banana Loose Powder and Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup SPF 10, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Promenade and Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics.
With three months left of 2017, we're probably in store for a for a few more crazy brow trends. What could possibly be next?!
Have you ever tried out a wacky beauty trend for fun? Or done any makeup experiments of your own?
Have you tried any of the products mentioned above?

Great for Halloween looks but certainly not something you would wear everyday.

This would take way too long for me to do and mess around with. When I do my brows I have about 10 seconds max to quickly fill them in!

This would come in handy if I was thinking of recreating La Joconde look for a themed party.

Very unique and would probably take a bit of talent to do that. Not really an everyday look however haha

This is crazy! I mean we can all appreciate the incredible talent behind these makeup looks but they aren't the most wearable looks. Props to her though, they look so artistic and detailed!

Im all for expressing ones self, but what on earth was the person inventing this thinking... and it it gains some sort of cult following, I will be utterly gobsmacked. Like people without eyebrows or those with really fair eyebrows just look strange. But that’s coming from someone who does the eyebrow dance ---_-

They should have posted a full face look too but overall this I would say that this does not look good.

I'm always quite amazed at what these makeup artists can do. Very clever. Obviously, not an every day look :P

Ummmmmmmmm...no thanks. Very artsy, but definitely not a natural look that I would stick to, myself.

I'm confused?! LOL is the white section the brows?!

Yes, it appears that is so. It looks like the hairs have been removed rather than hidden under makeup which is not a great idea considering all the people out there finding it hard to grow back their eyebrows....

It looks like they plucked it. Not good for the models eyebrow hairs in the long run.

Wow the photos remind me of some planet's surface or somewhere in outer space, very creative and artistic, but I already have negative spacing in my brows, meaning there isnt any brow there due to overplucking.

I can see it being used for Halloween or a Black & White party, but I would not do it every day, for reals.
