How to do eye makeup for hooded eyes

Ahh, hooded eyelids. For those of you aren't sure, hooded eyes have extra skin that droops over the crease of the eye when the eye is open. Those who have them know how pesky they can be when it comes to applying makeup for hooded eyes. If you apply your makeup incorrectly, you’re usually left with eyes that look smaller and droopier than they actually are.

Take a look at these shots of Jennifer Lawrence.
On the left, her eyes look much less defined and even a bit puffy. On the right, her eyes look much wider and brighter and appear to have much more depth.
So if you have hooded eyelids and are looking to create flattering makeup for hooded eyes, here are some simple rules to follow:
#1: When lining your top lash line, make sure the line starts thin at the inner corner and gets thicker at the outer corner. Either sweep your line upwards or create a slight flick at the end of your eyes to help open up them up even more.
#2: Hooded lids can make you appear sleepy, so never line your water lines with a black pencil as this will just make your eyes look smaller, and therefore more tired. Instead, line both your upper and lower water lines with a white eyeliner to widen and brighten your eyes.

#3: Never apply only a dark or light shadow to your entire lid: the dark shadow will make your eyelids seem heavier and your eyes look smaller, while the light shadow may accentuate the hood. Instead, use a light highlighting shade on your brow bones and the inside corner of your eyelids, a mid-tone shade over the rest of your lids, and a darker shade on the outer corner of your eyes (just like J-Law in the picture on the right.)
#4: Curling your lashes can open your eyes right up. Once you’ve curled your lashes, apply two to three coats of mascara on your top lashes to help hide the hooded area of your lid. You can also add a few false lashes to the outer corners of your eyes to make your eyes look even wider.

Hello friends, an awesome and amazing testimony about a Great spell caster i really love to share. I'm Bello by name from NIGERIA. Getting my wife back is what I least expected and could never imagine. I and my wife have been married for ten years and we have been living happily but all of a sudden she changed completely and turned away from me and i never knew what was going on, i tried to ask her but she refused to tell me what the problem is, and as time went on she sought for a divorce. I was so worried and confused, and i did all my possible best to get her back but it wasn't easy, i thought all hope was lost, and during my search for a way out, a friend of mine who had similar problem told me about a great spell caster called (Dr JB) who helped him get back his wife also. I never believed in spell casting in my entire life or magic because I never thought it would work but I tried to give this man a chance and to my greatest surprise, He cast a spell to bring her back, but today we are back together into a lovely home with three beautiful kids. We are happy together again and I am using this opportunity to tell anyone passing a similar situation to unlimitedlovespellcast@gmail.com OR unlimitedlovespellcast@yahoo.com WhatsApp him +1(415) 286-5884 . and you will be the next to tell a new testimony.

Great tips. I've saved this page because sometimes I forget what I'm supposed to do because I don't wear eye shadow very often.

I commented on this article in 2016, saying that I had been experimenting with a cut crease for my hooded eyes. Since then, I've also been experimenting with the halo eyeshadow look.

I absolutely love this article, I even went so far as to get false eyelashes put on, and this has helped to open my eyes up. I am also getting my eyebrows tattoed to open the whole face up.

I always take extra care in the transition colour of my eyeshadow in my crease, adding extra pigment to the skin that shows so the colour still shows
