    It’s safe to say that Jennifer Lawrence has impressed us in many ways over the years. Not only is she an Oscar-winning actress and has fronted one of the biggest blockbuster franchises of all time with The Hunger Games, but J-Law’s red carpet beauty looks always make us weak at the knees.

    Gracing the red carpet in New York for the premiere of her new film, Joy, we were taken aback by Jen’s stunning, luminous beauty look. Even though her choppy lob was well on-point, we couldn’t go past the shimmering silvery-hued eyeshadow dusted in the inner corners of her eyes and across her upper lid. Let’s all just take a moment to appreciate her sparkling peepers…

    Not only does this fairy-esque beauty look make her hooded eyes appear a zillion times wider and fresher, but it compliments her luminous golden cheeks and irresistibly shiny locks. Her subtle glossy pout seals the deal.

    I like this look - looks radiant! I've always been a fan of shimmery silver eyeshadow and I think it looks great with her blond hair.

    I adore this silver eye shadow effect on Jen. She is so inspirational, representing Dior fashion house on top of her filming commitments. Sign me up as a Bestie! I was introduced by a MUA (Make-Up Artist - just in case you didn't know) to such silvery shadow when I had some Starshot Photos taken in 2008. I looked every bit the star. Thanks to my natural beauty...and a little air brushing. It works wonders every time. :)

    I love the eyeshadow, and the colour suits her, but there seems to be a bit too much of it under her eyes? Or is her concealer a bit too light?

    That is a beautiful look. I have hooded eyes so I think I might have to try the silver shadow (not that it will make me look like her...)

    The makeup look is very pretty, really suits her. I agree that the lip colour may be better in a pink or similar, rather than the brown
