Make small eyes look bigger
To create the illusion of bigger eyes, avoid heavy eye make-up – you want to open the eye right up, not weigh it down. Stick to lighter, more neutral shades from your lashline up to your brow, keeping darker shadow at the crease and below. Darker shades should extend from the outer corner of your eye at a 45 degree angle to draw attention upward. A touch of highlighter under your brows and at the inner corner of each eye is a clever trick too. Next, white liner along the bottom rim of your eyes will help widen them, as will curling your lashes. Finally, make sure you apply mascara to your outermost lashes too – this will really give you some lift.
