We found dupes for Glossier Lidstar!
If you’re a Glossier fan, you’ll know that in January the brand teased a new product on their Instagram. Queen Bey herself appeared to be wearing the mystery product in a photo that the brand shared on social media, but they deliberately left out the product name. Well, finally the cat’s out of the bag…
The product was Glossier Lidstar: Glossier’s first ever eyeshadow product. While the news is exciting, it’s bittersweet for us Aussies since the brand doesn’t ship to Australia just yet….

I have not heard of Glossier Lidstar before, the eyeshadow colours are lovely. I have heard of the comparison brands and eyeshadows, these are wonderful shades.

My only hesitancy when buying cream eyeshadows is their shorter expiry date compared to powder eyeshadows. I'd love to buy the Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows, but I'm probably better off buying the Revlon ColorStay Crème Eye Shadows (which are cheaper).

I have the Avon one in a bronze colour but now I'm inspired to try more colours in the range - while I can!

I have used the Avon Mark "Ink" for a while now. I have two colours, the Bronze and the Charcoal which is really a dark grey.
Rather than my fingers, I use a brush or "sponge" type of applicator. I really do like these two colours and the cream shadows. I find they are quite complimentary for the more mature skin.
