Foundation event with the experts
If there’s one thing that every flawless make-up look relies on, it’s a great foundation. But while foundation is one of the most straightforward make-up products to apply, it’s also the one thing that so many women continuously get wrong. The biggest blunder we’re making? Choosing the WRONG foundation shade for our skin tone.
Which is exactly why beautyheaven teamed up with the experts at L’Oreal Paris to host an evening of foundation education with Make-Up Director Elsa Morgan.
The lucky bh Trial Team members in attendance were all treated to one-on-one foundation matching sessions, where they were prescribed with a L’Oreal True Match Foundation that perfectly suited their skin tone (stay tuned for some reviews!)
They were also taught how to correctly identify which foundation shades worked for them, given insider tips and tricks on perfect application, advised on the best eye and lip colours for their complexions, AND spoiled with mini manis and L’Oreal Paris goodie bags.
Check out our video above to pick up some of Elsa’s expert tips and see what our Trial Team members got up to at the event…

So cool! I do seem to have a lot of problem choosing the right foundation; as a teen I would just automatically go for the palest shade - I was after the pale-and-interesting, pseudo-goth look. Having grown out of that a little now I'd like to find a shade that actually matches my skin, and doesn't make me loo ghostly!
