We review: Editor essentials

Here at beautyheaven, we review lots of products. So we can afford to be picky with the beauty buys that we decide to take home and use in our own routines.
This month, we’re sharing four products that we couldn’t wait to take home and try for ourselves! And let’s just say, they didn’t disappoint. From the 3-step skin care system that bh’s Eloise swears by, to the body butter that’s keeping bh’s Kate’s lengthy limbs looking smooth, the diffuser that keeps bh’s Kristy’s home feeling fresh, and the nourishing lip oil that bh’s Sophie has fallen for.
Proactiv® 3-Step Kit
bh’s Eloise says:
“After using the Proactiv® 3-Step Kit, I understand why every celeb has done a stint of Proactiv® infomercials. It worked so well that I still can’t quite believe the results. I have struggled with acne over the last few years and prior to trying Proactiv®, I had used a few different skin care regimens which all seemed to keep breakouts kind of at bay, but not really do much else.
"After doing a patch test of the Proactiv® cleanser for three nights and having no problems I started using the three products nightly. I scrubbed the cleanser in circular motions over my face before rinsing and patting dry. Then I’d pat on the toner with cotton pads. For step three, I’d massage a pea-sized amount of the cream onto my face. I didn’t think that would be enough, but the pea-size was plenty! I saw results almost immediately. My skin is looking so much clearer. Over the last few weeks I have had a few pimples crop up. But there have been far fewer than normal and when they have appeared they've been a lot less aggressive. This dermatologist-developed kit is meant to prevent future breakouts so I’m excited to keep using it and keep seeing results!”
Olive Oil Skincare Body Butter – Citrus Revival
bh’s Kate says:
“A summer gets closer and the weather gets warmer, I'm doing everything I can take make sure any skin I currently have on show is as moisturised as possible. I've also upped my at-home tanning sessions from once a fortnight to once a week, which means I need to keep my skin hydrated so that the colour stays nice and bronzed. For these reasons, the Olive Oil Skincare Company Body Butter - Citrus Revival is currently my beauty BFF! The intoxicating citrus scent is so summery and smells incredible (and not at all like olive oil in case you were wondering!) and the formula is packed with so many good ingredients to nourish my skin – vitamin E, shea butter and olive oil butter to name a few. I love the way it melts easily into my skin, especially when I apply it at night after a long day. It keeps my skin looking smooth, feeling supple and nourished with all-natural ingredients. Obsessed!”
Circa Home 1980 Fresh Linen Diffuser
bh’s Kristy says:
“I had never used scented reeds before so I was interested to see how different they were to candles. I set this Circa Home 1980 Fresh Linen Diffuser up in my lounge room which is the middle of my house and a central walkway from the front door to the living room. So it is important it always smells good. I love that the scent is constant but is by no means overpowering. It leaves a lovely, fresh scent in the air without really even noticing it’s coming from the reeds. The actual fragrance itself is just as fresh as a basket full of newly cleaned sheets (only one of the best things in life), so it kept my house smelling crisp and spotlessly clean. This was especially nice after the house had been closed up all day while I was at work - see ya later stale, musty house!”
Raww Fruit Fusion Lip Oil
bh’s Sophie says:
“As someone who always has dry lips, I’m constantly searching for a lip product that offers both colour and hydration. Enter: Raww Fruit Fusion Lip Oil. This lip oil is SO nourishing that it feels like you’re applying a targeted lip treatment, rather than a makeup product. It’s enriched with powerful superfoods such as coconut oil, avocado oil, grapefruit peel oil, kakadu plum and shea butter - so in a way, it’s both a treatment and a lip colour in one. What I really love about this product is the glossy finish. I tried the shade Strawberry Spritz and after I apply it, I’m left with a perfectly plump, pink pout. This product definitely gets two thumbs up from me!”

I'm super-excited by the Raww line, just found the whole range at a new pharmacy that just opened - quite a large range, their makeup looked lovely - but have to make a dent in my all-too-large stash first!

I really want to try the Raww lip oil! It sounds so lovely and I’m always on the hunt for a nourishing lip product, especially in summer when the sun and aircon dries out skin further. The shade sounds really appealing too, I’ll have to give them a go. :)

Raww has been emailing my business, asking us to be a "partner" and in order to become a partner I have to sell 20 tickets to their "event" at $20 each. And I can't see what we get from the "partnership". It is getting slightly annoying for me!
