Precision Blending Sponge Reviews

This product is fantastic. I bought one 3 years ago (Yes I know longer than they recommend you use it) and it has now only been thrown away due to the larger end cracking and degrading. I have used this nearly ever day and love it so much. It gives great coverage and despite the fact that it does seem to stain it doesn't suck up a lot of product (when I threw mine away last week I cut it open to check the inside and it was pristine no foundation in there at all). It is easy to clean using baby shampoo or a gentle face wash and dries easily before the next application. For the price I did not have great expectations about this sponge however I have been absolutely blown away and would recommend this to anyone who wants to try out an affordable blending sponge.

A friend showed me this product, and recommended it. I bought it and have never regretted the purchase. It blends makeup and the pointy end fills in the bits I am likely to miss if I am not careful - around the nose and under the eyes. It also blends highlighters and contouring with the base colour, without leaving a line. My makeup has never looked better. I agree it is easy to clean with a bit of shampoo, and should be washed regularly. It is far more effective than the brush I was using prior to purchasing this sponge.

I have been trying out a few different sponges before going forward with the beauty blender and this one is definitely my favourite. It's blends super well and my makeup has never looked so good. I use it with liquid foundation and used it both wet and dry My preference is dry as it gives me fuller coverage, can be used with powder as well.

I found it ate a lot of product if I applied it directly to the sponge. I'm now mixing a couple of foundations together because I can get it closer to my skin tone, so I mix it on an old milo tin lid (trying to find a proper makeup palette thingy but this works well ate), apply in dots to my face and then blend out the sponge. This way a lot of product is saved.

Only issue is that it is a pain to clean. Try adding liquid soap to the surface after wetting it and then moving your thumbs around in circles on the surface. Seems to speed things up a bit.

I was away for a wedding and what did I forget - my beauty blender. I was short on time so had a quick shop around and this was the only thing I could find close to what I normally use.

Being used to using something different I was pleasantly surprised about the finished look. It blended my makeup quite well, both foundation and concealer. No steaks or patches which is always a good thing! I found it was a bit hard to clean, there were obvious marks from my foundation after I cleaned it several times and it seemed to soak up a lot of my foundation. However considering how cheap it is you get your monies worth in a great finished look.

I find this sponge absorbs a lot of the product I am wanting to apply. I end up using more foundation with this in the end as some remains stuck to the blending sponge. I find my foundation looks more flawless with this however I do use more product.

It is a firm sponge that is not too hard or soft. It works well to blend in makeup, I use the narrow end for smaller areas of my face and the wider end for larger areas such as my forehead.

No streaks or uneven application with this sponge, expect a flawless look.

When I went to wash the sponge, the colour of the sponge bleed out a bit and there is still brown foundation stains remaining on the sponge. Other than this I like the sponge as it helps me a achieve flawless makeup.

I ahve been using this sponge for a few years now and love how the rounded cut makes it SO easy to apply cream/gel based foundations.

Previously I only applied my foundation with my fingers, which sometimes was effective it however left me with uneven patches and streaks. I learnt about the beauty blender and set out to find a dupe, when I came across this in my local target and I must say it is a godsend. It blends my make up flawlessly and I am 100% impressed with this! the only downside is it can be a bit hard to clean. Overall I love this product and what it does for my face.

Before the beauty blender I was blending make-up in with my fingers which I knew wasn't good but the real beauty blender was out of my price range. After doing research on the sponge I decided it was worth trying, whilst it wouldn't be the same as the real one I figured it had to be close otherwise there wouldn't be that many good reviews on beautyheaven.
When I bought this sponge I didn't think it would be as good as what everyone had said about the real beauty blender and how this was one of those dupes that didn't work. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked amazingly. After that test it became my favourite tool to blend things in with. I love how it gives me a flawless finish and it doesn't leave a cakey makeup. I really love this, A MUST HAVE FOR ALL BEAUTY BAGS

i really love to use this to apply my bb cream and concealer. mess free and very good to blend. I prefer using this rather than brush.
