This is by far the best makeup remover I have ever tried. The product is housed in a purple bottle with a silver lid, and as the product separates in the bottle, it needs to be shaken before use. I pour a little remover onto some cotton wool and press it over my eyemakeup for a few seconds, and then everything - brow gel, eyeshadow, liner, even waterproof mascara wipes off without any rubbing or scrubbing. It can leave a little oily residue, but this is easy to rinse off. This product will also easily remove the most longlasting lipcolour/stain too, simply use a bit on cotton wool or a tissue and it will easily wipe off without pulling or rubbing. A longtime favourite product of mine, I have repurchased this several times.

This non-irritating eye and lip makeup remover is the best in my opinion. It removes mascara without having to rub. It is oily so I only need to use a small amount for easy removal of all eye or lip makeup. I have used this product for many years and it never fails me with the proviso that I don't use too much at one time otherwise the area I am cleaning becomes very oily, so less is definitely more with this product.

I love this make up remover. It does work well in removing my most waterproof mascara and my kiss-proof long wearing matte lipstick. I did not fell any sting when using this product near my eyes and I do not have to drag my cotton rounds roughly around the delicate area on my eyes. I just need a gentle swipe and my eye make up is gone. The only thing that I dislike is it does feel a bit oily for my liking.

The Clinique Take The Day Off Make Up Remover for Lids, Lashes & Lips is a two phase liquid makeup remover that features an oil formula and a water based formula that needs to be shaken together before use.

The liquid cleanser can be a little messy to use as you need to pour it onto the cotton pad, however it is an extremely effective makeup remove that cleanses your skin from any lip or eye makeup.

The product removes lip products and eye shadows with ease but I've found that with stubborn mascara, a little time is needed to hold the pad over the eye before wiping away to completely remove the mascara.

The makeup remover does leave an oily residue on the skin which I personally find ok as I always go in with a cleanser afterwards to remove any face makeup and then to also cleanse my skin.

If you're looking for a makeup remover to remove stubborn matte, long wearing lipstick or mascara, this is a great product to do that.

Tried this a while ago when I participated in a GWP. It does feel oily on my skin, it. It doesn't remove any stubborn makeup so it is more suitable for light makeup removal but not good for heavier make up. I do like their makeup wipes and their rinse off foaming cleanser, they do a good job but this one does remove makeup but as I said, leaves a slightly oily film on skin and doesn't remove heavier makeup application or stubborn makeup

I received a 50ml sample of Take the Day Off makeup remover as a GWP and started using it a couple of weeks ago. It comes in a pretty purple bottle with a child proof lid. I don't know what the full sized botyle is like but the sample sized one does not have a dispenser cap on it so you have to be careful not to pour out too much at a time which is slightly irksome.

The product itself is a clear watery fluid. I pour a little into a makeup removing pad and wipe over my eyes at night. I don't wear mascara so I find that this eye makeup remover works super quickly. It contains oil and you can feel that as you apply the remover so I'm sure this would remove even waterproof mascara. I find it gentle on my eyes - it's basically unscented and hypoallergenic so great for sensitive types.

This really is for eyes and lips only. I was tempted to see how it went removing face makeup and ended up with a face covered in oil. Don't do it is my advice!

So all in all I found this to be a pretty good eye makeup remover ( I never have lipstick left by the end of the day so no need to remove this). It's gentle, effective and does the job. I'd buy this again.

I have tried a variety of make up removers, and the Clinique one is one of my favs! It removes all makeup and especially good for heavy/night eye make up which comes off in an instant. I love that it doesn't leave much of a residue and when I rinse my face it feels perfectly clean. I like that it comes in a travel size as well, as I leave the smaller size at my boyfriends place for times that I need to remove any makeup etc., and keep the regular size at home in my bathroom. The packaging is lovely and have found that even though it is a pricey compared to alternative makeup removers, it still does a really good job. Although it is only stocked at department stores, which I only ever really purchase makeup from as opposed to skincare.

I only use this remover on my eyes and prefer using a micellar water or cleanser to remove foundation and other makeup on my skin.

I often get a travel size of this as a gift with purchase of Clinique products. I have built up such a big collection of them and I continue to get them to a point I don't think I'll ever run out!

It's a great product though and removes the toughest eye or lip products easily. I shake it to mix the two layers of liquid then pour a small amount onto a cotton round before wiping over the area. It does leave a residue, but this doesn't bother me because after this step I go over my whole face with a makeup remover/cleansing wipe (Simple micellar wipes) and then my normal cleanser (either Clinique mild liquid soap or the Clinique sonic soap and brush) and my face is perfectly clean and residue free.

This product is very good at removing makeup but I find the oily residue it leaves behind unbearable (it's harder to get off than the makeup!)

But in saying that, it is very gentle and doesn't cause stinging to the eyes like cheaper products.

Being able to use a small amount for both eyes is a bonus as well, you only have to apply once to the cotton pad in order to remove all the makeup.

The oil residue is easy to move past though because of how well the product though. Although I only use this at night and not during the day because of the oily residue.
