I stopped using facial wipes a long time ago due to their environmental impact, but I loved discovering WOTNOT as they are biodegradable. I still prefer using other methods but they are really handy to take one road trips or when I go camping.

I only use facial wipes very very occasionally, usually if I am running late and someone else is hogging the bathroom or travelling on flights. I actually don't like the residue that I find the wipes leave behind. Sometimes I still do a proper cleanse afterwards!!

I've resisted using face wipes (to me, they are bad for the environment as well as being full of chemicals) but I have picked up the wot not wipes in beautorium and used a few and given them to my daughter.
I can understand the convenience of going away and not wanting to pack a large bottle of cleanser etc. or coming home from a very late night (tired and/or drunk!) and using face wipes is better than nothing.
And I'd always use a "natural" brand such as wot nots.

I use baby wipes for every thing and make up wipes for a quick fix. My skin can rash at the strangest time so it isn't worth the risk.

It is very convenient. But i am not sure how burning them tells us if they are good for the skin or not?

Facial wipes never caught on with me. You're already in the bathroom, just wash your face.

I always have wipes on hand but I'm too afraid to use them. They're reserved for special occasions (like when I'm too lazy or drunk to take my makeup off LOL)

Only use as a last resort. . Washing my face with a muslin cloth feels the best.

I don't like to use wipes on my face, I would only use them during travelling for hands and to wipe things.

I generally use wipes when l am travelling for their convenience. I have tried most products on the market particularly for aging skin. I am not sure if there is any benefit to the claims that are made but l will purchase WOTNOT,s next time and see how they make my skin feel.

Interesting, I don't use wipes very often anymore but tbh most "organic & natural" products make me break out so I don't really like them.

Like others on this post I dont use wipes on a daily basis and tend to only use them when im travelling or in situations like I had recently where I was in hospital and unable to carry out a proper cleansing routine. I find them great for a freshen up while dealing with long haul flights.

I generally dislike wipes for environmental reasons. I use micellar wipes for travel as they are the only ones that remove all my make up.

I only use wipes as a last resort. I normally use a cleansing balm to wipe of the majority of makeup.
If I come home late night and I'm really tired, I would go straight for wipes.

Another reason why I don't use face wipes - I prefer pH neutral cleansers!

I have wipes at home but they are really for very occasional use. I couldn't finish one pack in more than 18 months. Making it a part of the regular skincare routine is bad for the skin. Wiping means a lot of pulling and tugging of skin and it doesn't really clean skin properly.

Same here SK. I usually just use them when I am on trips (and use them on the plane) or when I am camping and showers aren't readily available. I completely agree on not cleaning skin properly as when I use the wipes and then wash later you can see how much was left behind (gross).

I sometimes use them when I'm too tired to cleanse properly. I just buy a cheap non fragrance brand at the supermarket. They are just as effective as the more expensive brands.

How does burning the wipes prove anything? It proves that some are made from synthetic materials and and others from natural not whether they are good for you or not. Like cat piss is natural but doesn't mean it's good for the skin. Any it's not like I'm going to set my face on fire to use these wipes...
