Find out what's really in your face wipes
Face wipes may all seem like much of a muchness, but as our most recent ‘scientific experiment’ revealed, not all face wipes are actually created equal. Watch our video above to see what happens when we put the all-natural WOTNOT Facial Wipes up against a selection of leading competitor face wipes on the market. You may be surprised at the results…What do you look for a in face wipe? Are you cautious about what you put on your skin?

sometimes I might use the wipes but not so often.

I don't really understand the relationship between burning a wipe and how it proves it is good for your skin or otherwise. I don't intend to burn my face.

I much prefer cruelty-free and vegan alternatives to wipes! I have found some great products at VertueBox

Thank you for sharing. I was just thinking of this when I was watching the video. Thanks again.

I'm wary of what I put on my skin, especially surfectants and harsh materials that can cause rubbing and irritation. I don't mind the odd face wipe, but it has to be really moist and hydrating.

I’ve never heard of WOTNOT facial wipes and will just stick to micellar water.

Wotnot wipes sound good; I've used Simple before but I like the sound of rosehip oil in the Wotnots

I love WotNot wipes but sometimes I find it hard to get them. If I can’t get them I’ll buy Simple. I am aware that some wipes aren’t good for your skin, so therefore I’m careful about what I use.

I have bought them from Priceline, but I couldn’t find them in my local Priceline when I was there last week. Never seen them in the supermarket though.

Thanks. I've checked everywhere maybe only selected stores have them? I might email the company direct and ask for stockists LOL

I just looked at Priceline online, and they don’t even show as having them. Perhaps it’s selected stores only. But I also just looked at Chemist Warehouse online and they have them listed. So perhaps try there.

I don't use wipes much anymore as I prefer a proper full cleanser - I find that some wipes dry out my skin. Though, I always keep a pack of wipes anyway, just in case. Wipes are also much more convenient to carry around as well.

I cleanse properly in the shower when I wash my face but often afterwards I still have panda eyes. I use a micellar wipe that’s gentle on my eyes and gets all residual make up off. I also use wipes when I travel- they’re just more practical.

Wotnot is a great brand and I often use their wipes when I am on holidays. What an interesting little experiment, never though burning could show a wipes purity!

i quite like face wipes for removing eye make up and freshening up at the end of the day, i read what the ingredients are in , and ensure its low fragrace, sensiteve skin. I try to stick to natural where i can but i often find the supermarket ones are fine in moderation.

I don't wear much makeup and use wipers really. Good to know about it and I will concern about what showed in this video when I go to buy next time.

I've been using some Neutrogena Deep Clean Purifying wipes lately which I've written a review for recently too.

Ok it's good to know . I hardly use wipes these days. I have my trusty microfiber face towels that I use to remove my makeup with.

Not a balanced/unbiased report at all. Not a fan of these ‘sponsored tests’ - just call them what they are - paid advertisements. Don’t try to present them as a rigorous or scientifically valid test. It actually turns me off this brand, when in the past i have used them when camping and liked them, now i am reluctant to buy because of their fake science experiments.

Hi MerryGoRound. We all know these are sponsored videos, but they still give useful information and stuff for us to consider when choosing products.
