For enchanting eyes
-
Start by applying a cream eyeshadow base over the lid. Look for a long-wear formula that’s crease-free and won’t flake or fade
-
For party season, choose an eye popping shade that makes your eye colour stand out
-
Nothing says festive like a touch of glitter, but if you apply too much or it in the wrong place, it can make fine lines and wrinkles stand out.
-
To wear glitter the right way, try using a creamy eyeliner with a hint of shimmer on your lash line. Give your makeup a festive feel, without looking like you’ve bathed in glitter.

For luscious lips
-
This season, matte lips are out and a glossy pout is in.
-
But of course there is a right way to wear it without looking like you're trying to relive your high school days.
-
Look for a lipstick with a glossy finish.
-
Start by applying a lip liner that perfectly matches your lipstick colour. That way, if your lipstick starts to fade throughout the evening or when you’re eating and drinking, the lip liner colour will still be there.
-
Then, just apply the lipstick straight out of the tube

For glistening skin
-
If you’ve been taking great care of your complexion this year, you might want to focus on enhancing your skin.
-
You’ll see lots of shimmery highlighter this season, and thanks to Instagram you’ll probably see most women wearing too much.
-
The trick is to look more glow than disco. Instead of reaching for drying powders that will sit on the surface of your skin, start by applying a cream blush with your fingers so that it melts into the skin.
-
Then, using a cream luminizer, dab onto the high points of your face with your fingers. This will leave your complexion looking glowy and youthful, with enough shimmer to show off your gorgeous complexion.

How to save my broken marriage was my greatest weakness, I faced a broken marriage which I did not wish to give up. My husband was very hot tempered, he always pushes blames to me for causing our marital drawback, though we are married for 8 years with a daughter but we were still lonely and hopeless in marriage. He gave me a lot of excuses why we cannot cohabit unless i seek spiritual help from either spell doctor to work our marriage. There are some lovely suggestions here. I'm into cream eyeshadows at present and I find my eye makeup looks so much better if I keep it simple.
I love the glossy lipstick look and I've been wearing it forever. Even if I apply a matte lipstick first I end up putting a dab of gloss on top because it's a more flattering look for me.

I’ve always loved a glossy lip. Matte lipsticks look cracked on my lips after a hour or so

Agree. Matte can be better in some ways as it generally lasts longer but I would sometimes prefer for it to wear off rather my lips looking like the bottom of a dry creek bed.

I remember I did a full face of makeup recently, and when I came back home and removed my makeup, I was shocked at how much younger I looked without makeup. I feel like going back to minimal makeup like I used to before the bold brow, matte lipstick trend began, feels more me.

The best makeup to use for younger looking skin is tinted sunscreen.
I’m loving Invisible Zinc at present!

What shade are you using? I would want the light but have heard its very "orange"

I have dark skin and use the light.
It works well for me but I was advised to steer clear of the medium shade.

I think there should be a caveat about glitter because I think over a certain age you shouldn't wear it (like me).
If you remember wearing it the first time around when it was fashionable, you're probably too old to wear it again.

Great point for the glitter. Thanks to seasonal allergies wreaking havoc on my eyes, it's all about my skin and lips for awhile.

I like applying the lipstick straight out of the tube! I hate tutorials about lip brushes! It just takes too long! It's time to come home by the time I've finished!
