4 of the best beauty trends to try this October
Halloween is just around the corner, so of course the Internet is exploding with bold beauty trends and intricate hair and make-up how-tos.
But don’t worry, if Halloween isn’t your thing, there are also some simpler trends to try.
Watch the video above to stay up to date on exactly what’s #trending in October and discover the products you need to nail those looks below.

Bare skin, with highlighter #onpoint
Seen at NYFW on the Opening Ceremony, Alexander Wang, Tommy Hilfiger and Jason Wu runways, this simple make-up trend is all about letting your highlighter take centre stage. Channel the models in the video above and keep the rest of your base bare and dewy for a fresh complexion that screams spring!
Highlighter: Nude by Nature Touch of Glow Highlighter Stick, M.A.C Strobe Cream, Australis Cosmetics Mineral Highlights
Hyper-masculine fragrances
The latest men’s fragrances are bursting with blokey notes such as leather and cedar. With bottles inspired by motorbike racing and clenched fists (check them out in the video), they’re pretty tough fragrances to follow! We bet your man or dad would appreciate a spritz of these.
Tough new fragrances: Zadig and Voltaire This is HIM! ($99 for 100 mL, myer.com.au), Diesel Only The Brave Extreme (davidjones.com.au), John Varvatos Dark Rebel Rider

That nude by nature highlighter looks great! Would love to try... Although agree with skincare junkie that the no make-up look can actually be more time consuming most of the time! I find I spend just as much time if not more doing it! I thought if I do the natural look I would be out the door quicker in the mornings but so far no luck!
