Ultra A Skin Perfecting Serum Concentrate Reviews

I was put on a 90 days Ultraceuticals Skin Challenge through BH and I received and have been using the Ultra A Skin Perfecting Serum Concentrate product along with other Ultraceuticals products for the past 3 months.

The boxed Ultra A Serum Concentrate comes in a tall cylindrical opaque plastic bottle with a silver coloured pump for dispensing the serum. The pump has a safety lock that you twist clockwise and anti-clockwise to lock and unlock the dispenser. The airtight bottle and opaque packaging is designed to keep the serum sealed and protected from air and sunlight to prevent destabilizing the serum. This is a well-designed and well-thought out packaging and I’m impressed as I want the serum to retain its quality till the last drop.
The Ultra A serum concentrate is opaque, beige is colour and creamy in texture but lightweight. It has a mild botanical, herbal scent, spreads and is absorbed quickly. The serums scent is mild and doesn’t linger long after I put it on. I only need about three pumps (pea-sized amount) of the product to cover my face and eye area. I’ve been instructed to use this serum at night post cleanse with the Ultra Balancing Gel Cleanser. The serum is a creamy texture but if you have dry, dehydrated skin-type like mine, it must be followed up with a hydrating moisturizer. After waiting a few minutes for the serum to absorb I follow it up with the Ultra Moisturising Cream from Ultraceuticals.
I started using the Ultraceuticals Ultra A serum (medium strength) for a couple of months prior to using the concentrated serum so I didn’t have any reactions to the retinol in the serum. This could also be attributed to the serum being formulated with pro-vitamin C and bromelain to minimise any irritation caused by the retinol and to improve skins clarity, and texture. Over the last month I have seen fine lines on my forehead and eye area gradually diminish. I’m pleased with the results from using this serum in conjunction with other Ultraceuticals products that I’m currently using.

I think Ultraceuticals uses a fantastic combination of cell-communicating active ingredients and I would purchase products with these ingredients as I got amazing results using their products.
