Why hyaluronic acid is an anti-ageing star

Ageing doesn’t just show in the form of lines and wrinkles. Your skin loses volume, too, and there’s one ingredient out there that ticks all the anti-ageing boxes to give your complexion the boost it needs, and it’s called hyaluronic acid. Here’s why it’s so effective…
What is hyaluronic acid and why does your skin need it?
Hyaluronic acid is a molecule located within the epidermis. It’s an excellent natural moisturiser as it can retain up to 1000 times its weight in water! Hyaluronic acid also works to stimulate the production of collagen and boost the volume and plumpness of your skin. Essentially, it’s the key to giving your skin that smooth, firm and plump look and feel.
Why is hyaluronic acid important as you age?
As your skin ages, its cells’ ability to retain and naturally produce hyaluronic acid declines. As a result, your skin and facial features can lose volume and lines and wrinkles can begin to appear.
How can you boost your hyaluronic acid levels?
These days, many women are turning to hyaluronic injections to help counteract the signs of ageing. After Botox, hyaluronic acid injections are the second most popular injectable as they immediately volumise and moisturise the skin by filling in wrinkles.
But if needles make you squirm or you simply aren’t comfortable with the idea of injecting anything into your face, don’t worry – you don’t have to miss out on the plumping benefits of hyaluronic acid! L’Oréal Paris has a solution: the Revitalift Filler [HA] skin care range. Inspired by dermatological injections, L’Oréal Paris has created a topical formula with the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid yet* to help plump out wrinkles and boost the skin’s volume without needles. All you need to do is swap your regular serum and moisturiser for the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler [HA] Revolumising Serum and Revolumising Anti-Ageing Moisturiser.
Although this serum and moisturiser contain a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, it’s formulated with a low molecular weight, which allows it to penetrate into the epidermal layer of the skin. This is where the hyaluronic acid gets to work boosting collagen production and increasing the hydration levels within your skin which, in turn, minimises wrinkles and a loss of volume. Along with hyaluronic acid, the L’Oréal Paris Revolumising Anti-Ageing Moisturiser contains Fibroxyl, a firming ingredient that mimics the effect of a hyaluronic acid injection.
The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler [HA] Revolumising Serum dispenses the perfect dose for each application while protecting the formula from air and light. Used with the moisturiser, these products will give your skin an intensive hit of moisture, making it look firmer and more hydrated in a matter of hours, and plumper in as little as four weeks!
So, how do you apply the serum and moisturiser? Easy. After cleansing and toning morning and evening, smooth the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler [HA] Revolumising Serum over your entire face and neck. Follow with the Revolumising Anti-Ageing Moisturiser.
Did you know the benefits of hyaluronic acid for your skin? Will you be trying the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift [HA] products?

This is the first time I've heard of this. I think now going into my mid 30's I need to look into some plumping products to help my face keeps its plumpness. I can see my eye area starting to not be as plump.

HA is my favourite ingredient and it has changed my life (basically) since I was in early 20s . I was struggling with oily and dehydrated skin at the time and HA solved both problems at the same time.
HELLO normal skin!!
