Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser is made from 90 per cent naturally derived ingredients and is formulated to wash away impurities and detoxify pores to leave skin fresh, clear, and dirt and oil free. It contains ingredients derived from coconut, corn, willow bark (a natural salicylic acid) and guar bean.

Overall, members liked the fact the cleanser was made from natural ingredients and the packaging was made from recycled materials, too. Many agreed that the pump bottle made dispensing the cleanser easier, and that it was handy to use either at the basin or in the shower.

As for the cleanser itself, most testers were impressed at how gentle the cleanser was on their skin and how effectively it removed dirt and make-up. While most found their skin clean and refreshed after washing, some testers found their skin a little on the dry side, but compensated for this by using a richer moisturiser. Those who were prone to break-outs and blemishes felt the cleanser worked well to get rid of existing blemishes and prevent further ones from occurring.

The cleanser also received praise for the subtle scent (which was enjoyed by males too!) and the affordable price.
