Feeling a little blue?

Have you ever woken up in the morning and just felt a little sad? It doesn’t have to be about anything much, maybe something to do with work, a friend, or maybe you just get a little lip quiver when you think of the hungry children around the world?
No matter what the culprit is that has left you feeling less than happy-as-Larry, odds are the team at beautyheaven have picked out, sniffed, sampled and reviewed some utterly fabulous beauty mood lifters that will cheer you up.
Firstly, there’s a good tea, Aveda 100% Certified Organic Comforting Tea is almost as effective a cure as laughter. It’s caffeine-free and completely calming. Invigorating peppermint and licorice root make it the perfect morning wake-up-call.
Get chilled out pronto just by popping a Montagne Jeunesse Aromatherapy Masque over your tired, droopy skin. You’ll feel instantly awakened and more likely than not, your skin will start to reflect that.
Add character to your look with something fun and creative – a sweep of Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in Banana will get you the attention you deserve. You’ll be brushing away compliments on how daring and divine you are all day long.
What beauty tricks turn you from sour puss to tantalizing tiger?

Anything lavender scented usually works for me, such a calming and comforting smell.

I really love sitting back with a gorgeous smelling face mask on, reading a magazine. I also find that putting on bright pink lip gloss and my favourite perfume (Desire Me by Escada) when I go out tends to bring a smile to my face!

I don't have a bath but a nice relaxing shower always does the trick and washing my hair, I love having freshly washed hair - somehow makes the day seem a little better!

oh dear, I'm having one of those days today and apart from a small chocolate fix I'm out of ideas! Some self-pampering is good, like a face mask, or maybe a new lip gloss. And making a conscious effort to remind myself of how blessed I am and how much I have in my life to be grateful for!

Applying my favourite perfume and straightening my hair. Also playing with makeup.

If I can drag myself out of bed, yoga is great to calm me down and get centred again, then off for a hot shower, and then a soya latte as a treat.

a cup of tea, some stretches and breathing, candle (if appropriate) essentail oils, face spritz of rosewater, applying my fave perfume scent & some nice lippy or gloss all help brighten & lift my mood on those not so great days! Yesterday was one of those days for me, computer kicked the bucket, people needing my help left right and centre.... all i wanted was to chill out! Thats when R&R tips help ♥

I'm not a coffee drinker so I love my herbal teas, especially in the mornings. I always drink a tea called tension tamer by celestial seasonings which is a great way for me to start a day stress free.

(I dont kno how im going to wake up at 6:30am when i sleep at 2am! i need my 10 hrs of sleep LOL!!)

As a mum-to-be my hormones can be a little all over the place so I've had a few "blue for no reason" days. I try to just take care of myself, have a cuppa like a lot of other bloggers, do something nice for myself like a mask (would love to try the Montagne Jeunesse one - big fan), maybe have a little nap or watch a good rom-com. First and foremost though, I give my little boy a hug, nothing beats the blues like a dose of pure love :-)

I find giving myself a facial so my skin is smooth and glowing works a treat to perk me up plus a nice relaxing shower helps too. I then apply some really bright makeup, maybe greens or purples on the eyes or a bright pink or peach on my lips.

Not really a beauty tip, but if I can drag myself up and do some exercise, I feel so much better!

If I can manage to drag myself out of bed, I need a few quick coffee's to get me going then spend a good half an hour in the shower with my favourite body wash, shampoo ad conditioner :)

I go and get myself pampered. A facial, a massage and a nice bright lippy colour to instantly lift my mood and some me time usually does the trick.
