Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 30 Mattifying Reviews

This is an excellent daily moisturiser for everyday use that protects your skin with SPF 30+. I’ve found it great for my oily skin because it’s super light and absorbs well into skin and doesn’t seem to leave an oily residue. It protects my skin on hot days and seems to stay on well. Good for under makeup. Has a non offensive smell and lasts a long while, a little certainly goes a long way.

I was first gifted this for christmas in 2016 and i thought a 69$ sunscreen couldn't be so different from my usual 14$ one. Boy was i wrong.
It glides on so well, doesn't leave any garish white cast, full of skin loving ingredients and i remember testing it on a 35 degree day, it lasted 5 hours and i had no burn!

I recently bought another tube as my skin can't live without it! the packaging is practical, hygienic, and beautiful.

I was put on a 90 days Ultraceuticals Skin Challenge through BH and I received and have been using the Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 30 Mattifying along with other Ultraceuticals products for the past 3 months.

The boxed Moisturiser SPF 30 Mattifying comes in a 100mL squishy tube with a build-in pump. The tube is opaque and sits vertically on its lid. The opaque design prevents sunlight from breaking down the product and this is nice as it ensures the product retains its quality till the last drop. Gentle pressure on the pump is all it takes to dispense the moisturising spf which minimizes air from entering and breaking down the product.

The moisturiser spf is opaque, white in colour and is of medium lotion texture. It smells mildly of citrus but its barely there. I use about 4-6 pumps of this on my face, neck and cleavage. It takes a bit longer to smooth on as it has sunscreen but it doesn’t leave a white cast which I’m happy with. It isn’t greasy like other sunscreens but doesn’t look flat out matte either. You will still need to go over your face with a translucent face power to matte it out but this product is less greasy looking than other similar products on the market.

Overall I’m happy with the broad spectrum protection this moisturising spf provides. I’m also impressed with the inclusion of hyaluronic acid, panthenol and niacinmide for skin hydration and anti-aging. My skin starts peeling and flaking if moisturisers aren’t hydrating enough but I’ve never experienced it using this moisturising spf. A lovely product from Ultraceuticals which delivers results.

I think Ultraceuticals uses a fantastic combination of cell-communicating active ingredients and I would purchase products with these ingredients as I got amazing results.

I'm an oily combo and it's hard to find a moisturizer in the summer which isn't too greasy... this one is perfect! Really great to have put on your face during a facial, so calming and rejuvenating :)

This moisturiser comes in 3 formulas: hydrating, mattifying & sheer tint. I have been using the mattifying formula for about 2-3 months. I don't find that it moisturises my skin a lot but i love that it soaks in so quickly and doesnt feel greasy AT ALL. The 30+ UVA/UVB protection is why I use this product and I am happy with the protection as my skin has not been burnt or freckly since using it.

Great product, great packaging - winner! The only thing that could improve this for me was if it used a physical sunscreen like zinc instead of a chemical sunscreen - but it works so well that I'll keep purchasing!
This isn't too thick and sinks in quickly - is also a great base for makeup. I don't need a mattifying primer if I'm using this! Provides great protection from the Queensland sun without breaking me out or being too difficult to remove at the end of the day.
Took me ages to figure out what the scent reminds me of - sweet yoghurt :)
