Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate Reviews

So far, I am in love with every product in the moisture surge range that I have tried. In my opinion Moisture Surge is the best range in Clinique.

I am particularly excited when this product comes out. I had been using the moisture surge moisturiser for a while and I would really like something that is just slightly less viscous but as moisturising. I was probably the first to use this product back in 2017 when a sample was given to me by a SA I always purchase my products from before it was released.

The product comes in a sturdy cylindrical bottle with a pump which is streamlined and convenient to use. I usually use one to 1.5 pumps on moist skin. It is transparent pink colour with clear beads in it. I was told that the clear beads release "moisture shot" when in contact with skin. The Clinique website says the beads actually contain vitamin C and E. Whatever it is, my skin is really loving it.

Upon contact with skin, the serum feels like "dense", "concentrated" water which instantly provides so much hydration for my skin. It goes a long way too and I spread and spread until everything is massaged in. It is a true moisture bomb. There is no after sticky feeling. Excellent to use under moisturiser and makeup.

My skin is keep hydrated all day.

In my opinion this is one of the best hydrating serums in the market. It is also fairly affordable given its high quality and long lasting hydration. I also like that it comes in 15 mL travel size for $18 which is perfect for trial and travel.

This is a great hydrating serum. I use this after cleansing and toning. In the warmer months I don't need a moisturiser afterwards, but in the colder months I like to layer the Moisture Surge moisturiser over the top.
This serum makes my skin look plumped up and glowy.
It has a lightweight gel consistency that glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly.
Like all Clinique products this doesn't have a scent, which I appreciate.

I have used a lot of serums. Some are too heavy and some don’t offer enough hydration or moisture. This product offers just enough to plump and hydrate my oily/combination skin without leaving it slick and greasy. I do think I would work well for dryer skin types too but under a heavier moisturiser than I would use on my skin. It comes in pump bottle for easy dispensing of product, has no frangrance and doesn’t irritate my skin even when I have a flare up of perioral dermatitis. Well worth the money!

I got this as a sample from Clinique. First time I used this was in winter. I wore it overnight on its own and immediately my skin was looking hydrated and plump. The next morning, my skin was so supple and my fine lines on my forehead which are typically emphasised when my skin is dry is no where. I am doing fractional meso microneedling so I do give effort. But I love the feel of this on my skin. It is light and super hydrating. It is not on the cheap end so I will relish on the samples and maybe try getting more samples if I could.
