I have a slight addiction to night creams and this one just made the cut to be in my top 5. I like to rotate!

With it's super creamy texture this fragrance free wonder pot smoothed away the day with ultimate hydration. With a little retinol into the mix, l found it the Olay night cream buffed away the fine lines and made my skin glow again.

I'm usually wary of products with retinol as sometimes they can be harsh and leave my skin feeling dry and stripped. The Olay night cream was the complete opposite of that. I found it to really plump my skin without it feeling greasy or stripped.

I love that it can be easily purchased and l love that it actually works. I'm in my 40's so l need all the help l can get! The cream really boosted my skin and made it feel nourished, while smoothing out those pesky fine line.

Are my pesky lines gone? No - but they look a whole lot better now after using the night cream.

Highly recommend for an entry level retinol for those who are looking to up their skin care game.

The cream soaks really easily into the skin and skin feels really soft and feels really smooth and hydrated. The product contains retinol, but is really gentle and I had no stinginv feeling what so ever, even though I expected it. My skin also did not get red or look irritated at all like some other creams do to my skin. My skin does look smoother and appears brighter and plumper is the best way I can describe it. I really liked that it was fragrance free as I do tend to have difficulty with the smells of certain creams as I feel they smell to chemical. You don't require a lot of cream either which makes the product go a long way. Overall I am really happy with this product and can definitely see a difference in smoothness and hydration. It lasts a like time and really is good value for money. I will be purchasing this product again.

I've tried a lot of skin products, especially now I've hit over 40, as I'm hyper vigilant about trying not to look my actual age, so a lot of products I wouldn't recommend or rate highly. But this cream smelled amazing for starters. I hate creams and lotions that have an overpowering smell. This one was just lovely though. And it felt like velvet on my skin! Wasn't too heavy or too thick going on and didn't leave my skin feeling too greasy. I also have to say I've already seen result in the short time I've trialled it. My skin is looking and feeling so much better and I've had a reduction in lines and wrinkles on my face. I am definitely going to add this to my permanent regime as this stuff really delivers results and made me feel a little better about my ageing skin. Well done!

I was asked to review this product as part of the trial team and was excited to do so. As im now 36 anything that has retinol in it I'm here for as i have noticed it do wonders for my skin, that being said, i do already use a retinol based product so don't find I notice any major differences in my skin when I try new ones, just maintenance, so I wasn't expecting miracles from this straight off the bat but so long as it could maintain the effort and care i already put into my skin, I'm happy. However, I didn't get very far with this cream.. as soon as i touched it for the first time i could tell it wasn't going to be for me as it feels very silicon/dimethicone -y, i think from memory its the second ingredient in both the face and eye cream. I don't enjoy silicone heavy skincare and this is that. I did try it for a short while but i just couldn't get past the silicones. If you're one who cant work with heavy silicone skincare products i urge you to look elsewhere, if you're ok with it then you might like this, but as i mentioned before, i cant tell you what the retinol ingredient actually did for me as i already use one and not having used this for to long i doubt there was enough time for it to have any real effect but that's not to day it wouldn't, i just cant get past the silicone!

Absolutely adored this moisturiser! I’m not normally a fan of the Olay moisturisers as they tend to break me out but this one performed amazingly well and no break outs.

Although it comes in my least preferred type of container (tub), the stuff inside more than makes up for it. It’s a lovely lightweight texture that feels hydrating but not too heavy or suffocating. My skin is combination/oily and using this at night, I didn’t wake up with oily skin in the morning. My skin was hydrated, plump and glowing just after several days use. I’ve been using this night cream for about a month now as part of the trial team and I’ve seen definite improvement in the texture of my skin. My pigmentation is lightening and evening out and the fine lines have lessened.

I’m not bothered by fragrance in my products but as this is formulated without fragrance it would appeal to many. The cream almost smells like nothing., very faint almost undetectable and unidentifiable scent of the ingredients themselves.

This cream really surprised me. I love that it’s a retinol night cream and it’s working it’s magic while I sleep.

I was delighted to try the Olay Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream Fragrance Free because I am a regular user of another brand of retinol but haven't had luck with niacinamide on it's own. I also have dehydrated 40 yr old combination skin and still searching for THE night moisturiser.

Well Olay Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream Fragrance Free did not disappoint. It comes in a cute jar (I'd prefer a bottle but no deal breaker) that matches the eye cream. The product itself is thick and creamy with a very subtle nice smell to it. Let me tell you this cream absorbs straight into the skin leaving no sticky residue. My skin feels velvety soft and doesn't stick to my pillowcase. I found it goes on with absolutely no problem over the top of all my other serums.

From the first use and now three weeks on I wake up in the morning with soft smooth hydrated and plump skin. I have had no reaction no breakout no problems. My skin has even cleared up where I would normally get the hormonal pimples. I believe the combination of ingredients just suits my skin so well. My skin actually feels smoother all day and in the morning when I have a shower it doesn't feel like it's still sitting on top of my skin like a lot of night moisturisers I have used in the past.

I really really love this night cream and will continue to use this going forward with no hesitation in recommending to others!

While I am not a regular Olay user, Olay is the first brand that comes to my mind whenever friends and family look for budget recommendation. This Olay Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser is a luxurious texture night cream. I love a great user experience and I love its slightly whipped, luxurious texture which is thick but also light enough for instant absorption, with the cream disappear beautifully without too much effort to rub and massage. The product is fragrance free which ticks another box or me - not that I am sensitive to fragrance in general, but scent is such a subjective quality which can make or break.

The Retinol 24 range contains Retinyl Propionate (a retinol ester) and also retinol as active ingredients. Also contained in the mix is niaccinamide which, from a brief search of academic research paper, works in synergy with retinyl propionate to improve the appearance of aging skin. Impressively, matrixyl is also included (albeit as the last ingredient) which has proven track record as a line-reduction ingredient.

Since retinol can be a very powerful ingredient, retinol users will generally be recommended to start with a lower amount and gradually build up skin tolerance. It was very slow to see results because of intermittent use at the beginning of the trial period. Another note is that, it is not possible to tell what is the retinol concentration in the cream. Of course, as it is a powerful ingredient I would not be expecting it to be in the first few ingredients in the list, but it does seem fairly low, which is probably suitable for retinol beginners.

Personally, I have not observed a whole lot of skin changes at the end of the trial. However, this may be due to the fact that I was using some low concentration retinol products prior to the trial anyway. However, this is certainly a cream to try if you are hoping to start on retinol products.

I love olay products and I've always bought them. So I was really excited to try this new retinol product. My skin has been a bit a of a disaster due to having graves disease my ski n has become extremely dry, flaky and looks really dull. I've been using this religiously everyday before bed after cleansing my face and I have to say I'm really happy with the results even after the very first use the next morning I work up to plump very well hydrated skin. And after continuing to use this I could feel my skin becoming healthier looking, smooth, the flakiness was gone and it has become so silky. I would continue to us ethics as I like what I see and I've been already recommending this to everyone one in my family and my friends and I even got my partner to use it to get better skin.

The Olay Retinol Night cream comes in a purple 50g double walled tub with a silver toned screw-on lid. The double walled jar might control the exterior temperature from degrading the product inside but the jar packaging exposes the product to light and air, which will degrade active ingredients such as retinol in the product.

The night cream is of a mousse-like powdery consistency and even though it's marketed as fragrance free, I find it has a barely there fresh fruity scent. It applies easily to skin and absorbs quickly, leaving skin silky smooth. I don't find the fragrance lingers after application.

I wanted it to work for me but I don't find it's as hydrating on my skin. For reference my skin is combo oily but dehydrated was well. I have continued to use it though, but I haven't seen any visible changes. I think it's just not suitable for my skin but might work well for others.
