An Ultra-fabulous facial

If there’s one thing I love more than a good facial, it’s a really good facial. You what I’m talking about - the kind that digs deep into your pores, extracts all the nasties under your skin, and leaves you looking (and feeling) more radiant. And really, really clean.
Such was the case when I recently tried out the Ultraceuticals UltraSonophoresis (try saying that 10 times in a row!) treatment. It’s a fast-acting treatment that uses low-frequency ultrasonic vibrations to significantly improve the absorption of vitamins A and C (the nifty little vitamins that treat age spots, acne, and wrinkles and help to improve skin firmness, elasticity, and luminosity), as well as other nutrients, into your skin.
To get a little less technical and science-y, Ultraceuticals products (think Ultraceuticals Gentle Cleansing Gel, Ultraceuticals Ultra A Smoothing Complex, and Ultraceuticals Ultra C Facial Cream 23%) are applied using a metal spatula, which passes over your skin sending gentle ultrasonic vibrations deep into your complexion. The more the spatula passes over your skin, the greater the absorption of the products, and the deeper the clean.
The result? Skin that feels like it couldn’t be clearer, with improved hydration, suppleness, and texture.
And here’s a hot tip for those of you who suffer from dull and dry skin – the treatment will leave your skin glowing!
How do you like to be pampered?

Does anyone know where I can go to have an Ultraceuticals UltraSonophoresis treatment? It sounds amazing. Or will I need to purchase the products and DIY?

I had a facial once and even though I warned them my skin was sensitive they still ended up burning me. I was so glad to get out of there! I stick to my own routine now and I try new things only when I have read the reviews and patch test first.

The facial sounds like a great way to be pampered havn't done it for ages, usually go to a spa for my birthday and pick what excites me at the time or try something I have not had yet.

My one luxury when at work was a monthly facial and a massage, bliss perfect bliss Now alas since retirement that is a luxury that my gr daughter treats me to once in a while. I think every woman should treat herself even if you go without a few other things, find a good place and go regularly. Dream on (79 yr old).

I have tried most Ultraceuticals products and am always impressed. Will most likely gradually wean them out of my current skin care regime though as they are no longer selling them at my regular skin care place, which is a shame coz I know they are reliable. Wish they didn't decide to get rid of all of their stockists, I am not interested in shopping for my skin care elsewhere as I get discounts and redemptions from my current clinic. I don't have a facial very often as I am more a DIY girl but I like Roxy's idea of the works, and would love to have that done one day. More than anything I would love to have my makeup done professionally, now that would be the perfect treat for me :)

I've had facials and body massages, but I generally find the anticipation is better than the actual experience. At the end of the day, there is nothing like a long relaxing walk in mild weather for a real pampering. No mobiles, no "could you please just ...." requests, no work to look at and think "where do I begin?" Sheer heaven! And cheap as chips.

Ooooo love a good facila. I spend so much money on products and get microdermabrasions and peels however rarely indulge in a facial. The deal website Scoopon had an offer ending Monday for Sydneysiders - 3 Microdermabrasions + peel or 3 Ultraceutical facials (or your choice of a combo of 3) for only $59 wooo hooo! I snapped up that deal, cant wait. Scoopon a running a deal today for Sydney again - $19.95 for either a Miscrodermabrasion + peel or an Ultraceuticals facial. They have two locations - Sydney CBD or Burwood. If you work Monday - Friday, they are only accepting Saturday appointments at the Burwood Salon http://www.scoopon.com.au/deals/2065/just-19-95-for-diamond-microdermabrasion-w-enzyme-peel-or-ultraceutical-facial-97

I get eczema all over my body but when it's on my face it's even harder to get rid of because of daily makeup and just general "damage" from the environment, I love to do a good cleanse, tone and moisturise and I feel so much better and feel as though my pores have closed up keeping my skin clear and clean! I also LOVE a good facial!!

I get dry spots here and there and I've got confession to make....I've never had a facial before! But one day I definitely will - hopefully! :)

Facials, facials and more facials. These are the biggest gift you can give your own skin. I do one myself every fortnight and try to get a professional one every month or two.

I love a good facial and manicure... Until recently I thought I hated massages. But a friend gave me one on the weekend and it felt amazing. I think I may find professional massages a wonderful pampering treat.
