The new cult hair products you need to have

Here at beautyheaven, we love a beauty fad. Whether it’s for a minute (hello, hair mascara) or seems like it will never end (here’s looking at you, balayage) one of the perks of the job is getting to see all the new beauty products, tools and techniques that will change the way we cut, style and wear our locks. Some of these fall to the wayside, but others have cemented their place as a hair care must-have. Here are the new hair products that we’re pretty sure we won’t be able to live without.
Wella Color id
Coloured hair has never been more popular, and the range of colours has never been bigger. We don’t like to use the phrase “life-changing” too liberally, but for hairdressers and consumers alike, this innovation definitely falls into this category. Based on InvisiDivider Technology, this in-salon hair colouring technique allows, for the first time, a multitude of different colours to sit side by side in the hair without bleeding. This means that pales can be paired against darker colours with no foils required.
Aveda Dry Remedy™ Daily Moisturizing Oil
A few years ago, the thought of putting oil onto hair would've caused a collective gasp. Now, a new generation of oils that are lightweight and multifaceted has completely changed our opinion. This product is the first to harness the powers of the buriti fruit, which produces an oil that is a rich source of vitamin A. It’s also an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and unlike other oils, is weightless so it doesn't weigh the hair down. Instead, it’s absorbed and gives a high-sheen finish.
muk Curl Stick
It’s a commonly known fact that styling tools can cause serious damage to the hair. Now, rather than just creating products to protect from heat styling, innovative brands are developing new technologies that allow the actual styling tool to look after hair while creating the desired look. The muk Curl Stick comes with three barrels that help create different, static-free finishes and uses ion field technology to seal the cuticle to help protect it from heat damage. Not to mention it is an absolute dream to use for those of us who never mastered the art of creating waves with a straight iron.
Schwarzkopf Professional BC Fibre Force
A while ago you could slap your conditioner on for five extra minutes and call it a treatment. These days you’d be missing out on some of the cleverest products that use new reconstructive technology to ensure hair is constantly looking its best. This range uses micronised hair-identical keratin components to penetrate the hair architecture and re-cement gaps in the membrane, giving hair new life and resulting in 95 per cent less hair breakage. Clever, huh?
What are the hair products and treatments you couldn’t live without?

During the past six months I've started to use some different brands in hair products rather than sticking to the same ones. I've also introduced a moisturising oil. I love my Parlux hairdryer and my hair straightener.

I keep my hair in its natural state - dead straight - which means I don't really need to use that many products or devices to style it. I do swear by my Parlux though!

I cannot live without MUK - Heat thermal protection! I have fine coloured blonde hair which is very prone to breakage caused by excessive use of heat! (i.e.: blowdryer&iron...) & this product prevents that frizzled/ fried look! & protects my hair from heat! it is amazing i love it! doesn't leave that oily feeling either! just spray each section before putting the heat on it! damp hair before blowdrying / or dry before straightening/curling ect :)

aroma oil I find is the best for my hair at night on the ends. I have found I have so much less split ends now I have started to using it. Totally recommend.
